wOw reported with the rest of the world last week that NBC’s "Lipstick Jungle" was being canceled due to low ratings. However, it turns out that we may have jumped the gun. The New York Times reports that the show will definitely finish out its season of 13 episodes and … extra good news: If viewership grows, the show might stay on for longer.

Let’s start a campaign to save "Lipstick Jungle" by tuning in to this fabulous show on Friday at 10/9 central on NBC.

Yes, let’s save Lipstick Jungle. For those of you who have not had a chance to view the program, let me fill you in …just a bit about the show.

There are three working women living in Manhattan ….two if their 40s and the third a clothing designer who is probably in her 30s; they are close friends. One is married, mother of two; one is now a widow and the youngest is single. The interaction between the three and the situations (sometimes crisis es) faced by them individually and then shared are not unrealistic problems or situations. One woman was recently fired from her high-powered executive position by a new boss; another flubbed her chance to have the man she loves…to propose marriage. Interesting stories. But through each episode is the underlying relationship between the three women - their enduring friendship.

I hope they are right………..
It’s a fun show to watch.

The women are all smart and live complicated interesting lives………
They also are the kind of women who would (in real life) dislike
Sara Palin……….
