Lisa Marie Presley Expecting Twins

40-year-old princess of pop and husband look forward to a fall delivery

Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of The King, Elvis Presley, announced through her MySpace page in March that she and husband Michael Lockwood are expecting. Yesterday, Lisa Marie’s spokesperson, Cindy Guagenti, announced that the couple is expecting twins.

Grandmother-to-be Priscilla Presley originally made the surprise announcement on TV’s "Entertainment Tonight" on Tuesday.

Lisa Marie is mother to two children from former husband Danny Keough. She has also been wed to Michael Jackson and Nicolas Cage. She married her current husband in December of 2006.

I had fraternal full term still born twins in 1956 . my maternal grandmother had the exact same experience 50 years before in 1906. Otherwise no twins in our family at all and I was 24 at the time.

My grandmother on my dad’s side had twins. My mom had twins. There were no twins on mom’s side ever but of course there were twins on my dad’s side. My brother had twins and his wife had no twins in her family, I lost my twins before birth but I had single kids so all is ok. Some say it doesn’t pass from the father. We have been involved in the twins organizations and they say twins can pass from the father and not just the mother.

Is she gonna pop out a third album by then, too, possibly maybe? Just curious. I kinda miss her on the music scene - she’s a more-than-decent singer AND songwriter. And once those artists have children…their music (usually) tends to take a strange turn for the worse.
