Two Talkers Unite: Liz Smith Teams up With Perez Hilton (Video)

Perez, Fox's Courtney Friel and Liz

What happens when two of the biggest gossip queens in the business unite? Well, they gossip, of course!

In a joint interview with Fox News, I met the self-proclaimed Queen of Media Gossip, Perez Hilton. What do I think about the Internet informer? What was Perez’s biggest scoop ever? Who are the few people who hate me (can you believe I have enemies)? And who does Perez predict to be the biggest breakout stars in 2009?

Watch and find out!

For goodness sake, what a fabulous fur,’ said an acquaintance of Mae West’s. Mae shrugged her shoulder and whispered, ‘Goodness had nothin’ to do with it, sweetheart.’ Now that’s funny and politically incorrect and not feminist appropriate. But it’s a nice play on words and that’s why Liz Smith has been so successful over the years; she’s a people person with the talent and drive to capture personality on the page. And she has insatiable curiosity about people and the human conundrum that keep her motivated. Hook-em Horns, Liz Smith, in your smart burnt orange. Who’s the other guy? Peace and grace

What a great piece. Just shows that in spite of changes in technology and culture, the smart and saavy prevail. Liz, you look lovely.
