Liz Smith

Are you kidding? No more than I ever did; I always only ate strawberries, corn, watermelon in season. These days organic is for rich people. I am not dedicated to food.

I wish I were more of a foodie. Because I’m not, I encourage my children to graze, and eat lots of raw fruits and vegetables. They are all big salad eaters except the 16 year old who says she’s “sick of crappy health food.” I tell myself: This too shall pass….

Yea, I agree Liz……..strawberries and watermelons, we get ours from local growers. But whenever I go back East to visit family, I try to do it according to the growing seasons, I love fresh corn! Sounds silly but you gotta do what you gotta do!

I don’t think “dedicated” is the right word.Food is a necessity and not a dedication like money or gossip, for instance. Or maybe you mean food is not a priority because you have plenty and it’s always there!
