I quit eating store bought tomatoes about five years ago. If I can’t grow my own I buy local grown. This isn’t because of safety - I am sure that local grown can get screwed up just as easy - but because of the taste. Damn it, if I am going to pay $2.99 lb. I want something that doesn’t taste like cardboard. LOL
