Liz Smith: A Trophy Wife?

Liz Smith

If I could switch careers today, I would like to be one of those young trophy wives with everything still ahead of me, working hard to reassure that investment banker or Google-type inventor entrepreneur that it should all be put in my name. I’ve been a fool about money all my life and in my second “career” I would put myself in a ”business” where I could change that circumstance.

Liz Smith I love your choice of the “Trophy Wife Career” and your approach is brilliant and much used today. I am in the midst of a career change at 43 and it’s exhilarating, it’s freeing, it’s blissful. I just need to find the career now. It’s all in the knowing that changing your career is possible at any age.

I wouldn’t want to be a trophy wife, while I’m not liberated I am emancipated and I have a brain and opinion I like using. Having said that, I would have picked a career where the money didn’t sometimes take three years to be paid. In commercial real estate, it’s thankless, heartless and those are the good things. When I started 29 years ago I was young and naive… My dream while going through Ovarian Cancer, which today they gave me a clean bill of health. My cancer was 3-b and my chances God given…..is hopefully find success with my blog www.grammology.com and make a difference with grandma’s their families and children. We are still very young and vibrant at my age 62 and I have a lot to offer….here’s hoping your site will assist in keeping my traffic flowing. I am so grateful you allow us to share our URL’s once again women helping women. We all seem to get it.. Dorothy from grammology www.grammollogy.com
