Madge and Guy completed their first steps in officially saying bye-bye.

A London court on Friday morning granted Madonna and British film director Guy Ritchie a preliminary decree of divorce. The settlement terms weren’t surprising because the Times Online leaked much of the details Thursday. But there is one tidbit on the decree that wowOwow finds interesting: According to decree, the divorce was granted on the basis of Ritchie’s "unreasonable behavior."

Ritchie’s "unreasonable behavior" and not the kabbalah enthusiast’s reportedly weird ways? Upon the initial news of the split, rumors charged that Ritchie was probably fed up with Madonna’s odd habits. These rumors included that the singer slept covered in sticky cream and wrapped herself in plastic, forced Guy to drink fat-free smoothies and eat steamed fish and refused to let sunlight touch her fair skin.

The decree grants that the two boys will live with dad in London and share time with Madge in the States. Daughter Lourdes, 12, will stay with mom in New York. Ritchie is not Lourdes’s biological father. Lourdes’s dad is Carlos Leon, a personal trainer and Madonna’s ex-lover. It’s still believed that Madonna will keep a big chunk of her recently estimated $445 million, the Associated Press reports.

Neither Ritchie nor Madge appeared at the court session Friday. Madonna was in Philadelphia Thursday night performing for her vigorous Sticky & Sweet tour.

Meanwhile, it seems that Alex Rodriguez isn’t wasting any time.

Thursday evening, the London Daily Mail reported that A-Rod, the man who’s been rumored to be the pop star’s latest squeeze, was planning on buying an apartment within two blocks of Madonna’s Upper West Side home.

Maybe he should wait 43 days until the divorce is final?
