Marlo Thomas on if Her Parents Were Alive

Marlo Thomas
If any one of them were alive I’d be more than happy to see them again, live with them, have meals with them and enjoy all the other family rituals.

My parents, of course, I’d love to be with again. I don’t know about the inlaws/outlaws. I’d rather that they send me cash.

Our family always took care of their family and whoever had the biggest house or enough money did the deed. I wish we could understand the blessings parents are.. That is one of the reasons we created the blog grammology.com hoping to bring grandparents into our children and grandchildren lives. Because I’d been sick 9 out of 12 months last year and I’m 62 we took a short break on getting the message out..I’m strong, committed and in remission.. I’m a mother in law, mom, grandma, great grandma, and hoping I live long enough (stay in remission) to get this blog cooking and telling we are here to help, support, and teach our wit and wisdom hoping it eases life’s pain..for the family… And bless the courage of the Obama’s for their desire to share life up front and close with us and their children..it speaks volumes to their values… Dorothy from grammology http://grammology.com

He who fears the lord honors his father and mother.

That is one of The Commandments and the one with a promise…"Honor your mother and father, that it may be well with you and that you may live long on the earth."  (Ephes 6:1-3)                                            God knows how the importance of family is to our health and well being.
