Strangely, I used to fly in the front seat of a tiny single-engine Cessna-172 (1966-made) to do live airborne tx reports. I took comfort in knowing that it had a good glide ratio, if we needed to ever put her down. The dying part doesn’t bother me whatsoever, I’m ready and eager to go.
