Marlo Thomas
I’m looking at the heavens and saying to Dr. King, "Tomorrow is your day, too."

Indeed it is. On August 28, 1963, King told the world: “I had a dream.” On January 20, 2008, that dream will be realized.

Last week I listened to 1 of the first Malcolm X speeches. He was quite a good orator too. always good to listen to both sides. and, I wondered if Malcolm would have carried the banner for Barack? by Cooki aka Heyday

Proof once again, in my miniscule opinion, that there is no such thing as a coincidence. That Obama’s inauguration would come the same week as MLK Day was meant to be. I’ve been celebrating by filing reports, running audio from our morning man in D.C. today.

Like Marlo, I will turn to the heavens and smile at Dr. King…………it is indeed his day too, ie:inauguration day. I can’t help but relating what Bill Cosby did when he voted for a black man for the first time in history…………..On Meet the Press he said that he brought pictures of his parents and grandparents into the voting booth so that they could be with him on that momentous day. Quite compelling and heart warming……………..YES WE DID in more ways than we will ever know !
