Michelle O. Taking No Coiffure Chances at Inauguration

Barack Obama may be getting sworn in at the Inauguration, but all eyes will be on Michelle Obama’s style. That’s why she’s not taking any chances and has asked her trusted stylist of 18 years to fly in and ensure she looks fabulous!

Michael "Rahni" Flowers, of Van Cleef Hair Studio on Chicago’s Gold Coast, will be arriving on Sunday with his blow-dryers and flatirons and will reportedly handle Mrs. Obama’s hair and makeup for her many public appearances, including the swearing-in ceremony, parade and Inaugural balls. The future First Lady also entrusted Flowers with her look for Election Night. While the dress wasn’t the biggest hit, her hair and makeup were dazzling.

Obama, who sometimes wears her dark shoulder-length hair flipped at the ends, often finds herself compared to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, whom many consider the most stylish First Lady in history. Obama’s youthful look is in stark contrast to some past First Ladies, including Laura Bush, Lady Bird Johnson and Betty Ford, whose respective images reflected a more matronly look. Michelle Obama, on the other hand, maintains a more youthful appearance.

I SINCERLY BELIEVE WE WILL FIND OURSELVES WITH A LOVELY FRESH LOOKING FIRST LADY AND I DO BELIEVE SHE WILL BE AT TIMES A TOUCH SPORTY. I THINK SOMEHOW SHE IS GOING TO GIVE US ALL A SURPRISE OF A LIFETIME WITH HER GRACIOUSNESS,BEAUTY,INTELLIGENCE, AND A TOUCH OF HOME. I DO NOT EXPECT THAT SHE WILL WEAR SPORT CLOTHES VERY OFTEN BUT I BELIEVE THEY WILL POP UP HERE AND THERE AS SHE DOES HER TRAVELS. CASUALLL WEAR WILL BE WORN AS SHE CASUALLY GOES ABOUT DOING THE BEST BUSINESS SHE CAN FOR WHATEVER SHE IS DOING AND INTERESTED IN. I SEE HER AS SOMEONE WHO WILL BE OUT IN THE WORLD DOING FOR THOSE WHO CNA NOT DO FOR THEMSELVES. HUGS MS OBAMA AND GOOD MOVE WITH THE MOTHER IN THERE , THE GIRLS WILL BE KEPT AT THE HOMEPLACE NO MATTER WHERE IT IS BUILT AS LONG AS THE GRANDMA IS WITH THEM..—- WE GRANDMAS WANT OUR BABIES (NO MATTER THE AGE OR THE PLACE OR THE EVENT WE GRANDMAS KEEP THEM IN CHECK BETTER.) She will be a lovely First Lady. She is intelligent, well educated and gracious and her appearance is icing on the cake. The fact that she comes from a humble background gives all the above a substance and understanding of middle America that we have had very little of in the past.
