Josie Thanks for that. I watched a several of them. Just what I needed. There is always art in what you choose for us. You are pretty special. You are a butterfly that emerged from your cocoon.

Sorry about all the typos, I am tired and a little headache, not good idea to be looking at a screen.

Thanks Jane! You are too! I thought about you and Lily last night while I was watching a special on PBS about elephants. How are things going with Jenny?

Oh No….is there more we can do? What do you feel is the major hurdle that is holding up the transfer. It can’t be a lack of facts…Lily has made sure of that. Is it money? Stubbornness? Apathy? Lack of public support? The PBS special talked about how the elephants support each other (especially the matriarch) and how they have deep emotions. It was fascinating. I will admit that I was flipping the stations between that and Desperate Housewives/ Brothers &Sisters….I’m slightly addicted to those shows.

Frannie and Kim- I’m so glad you liked that. I watched it three times before deciding to share it here. At first, I thought it might freak some people out but I really liked it so I threw caution to the wind.

Josie Glad you did. It shakes our belief system to see the wings sprouting and then the legs on front, but what is wrong with that? Right. I checked out many of the other butterfly tubes as well. Loved them.

That butterfly video totally floors me! I also just spent a ridiculous amount of time Googling the creative force behind the MUSIC in the piece. The YouTube information in that particular link is severely lacking. No credits, nothin’. So I started from scratch and Googled lines from what lyrics I could make out. Eventually, I stumbled across someone on a random blog site who was plugging the video (short film, rather), and they mentioned that the music was a composition by Raphaël Ibanez De Garayo, possibly titled “My Skin Is Your Garden”… But Raphaël Ibanez De Garayo is a man, and only the composer, and I want to know who the vocalist is, specifically (reminds me of 90s alternative rocker-grrl Poe). The “Soundtracks” section of his official website is vague about the Butterfly clip (except that the filmmaker is Stéphane Levallois), while the “Just Music” section of Ibanez’s site is (so conveniently) unavailable! So…this search has become an obsession. I did learn that Raphael Ibanez has composed similar music for other such dark/fantastical/gothic ads and short films that I have enjoyed. So it’s fun knowing the common thread they share, and I’m grateful to have learned a new name out of all of this. So thanks. LOL! But the Search for that song continues…

Ms. Jane, thank you for making your care-toons. My mom said I could be a great artist like you if I stay true to myself. I asked her, did she mean like Aunt Mugsy, but she said, “Well, maybe not THAT true!” So I still don’t know. I asked Aunt Mugsy what it meant, was it like how Ms. Lily has always been Ms. Lily no matter what, and she said, “Well, no because she really doesn’t know how to NOT be true to herself,” so that didn’t help much. So could you help me, Ms. Jane?
