Why the question?

Edith, Why didn’t you have a “Life in the Little Lane” this week? Been too busy helping Aunt Jane with her Care-toon posts?

Jane, loved the art! “Truth being scarier than fiction” comes to mind! I rarely eat our local seafood any more, too much pollution in the bays. Red Tide has become routine on the Texas Gulf Coast ……. sad indeed! I do however, still love to go fishing with the hubby. We do the “catch and release” thing. Occasionally, we’ll snap a photo or two so there won’t be any “fisherman tales” floating around! Just curious ….. How much liquor did you mix in with the two gallons of lemonaid that I ordered last week? In Texas, if it was more than a “sip”, ti becomes Texas Iced Tea!

What a delightful, clever, hilarious thread! Maurine–you started it all–you knock my socks off. Be sure to put all this in that book you are compiling cuz this is the best! Such fishy fabulous females!
