C’mon, people, lay off Nadya Suleman’s innocent children! They never asked the fertility clinic to over-impregnate their single, unemployed mother.

According to reports, the Los Angeles police are currently investigating death threats aimed at Nadya Suleman — the octuplet-bearing mother who recently gave birth to eight babies to boost her brood to 14 children — because she enjoys the company. The police are also assisting Suleman’s publicist handle angry e-mails aimed not only at Suleman, but at her family. How are the children responsible for this? Why take aim at the young ones?

This week Suleman launched a website asking for donations, but also inviting visitors to send comments. A furor of controversy has erupted since Suleman’s pregnancy, from physicians questioning the regulations of fertility clinics to women questioning Suleman’s objectives.

The fertilization specialist responsible for over-impregnating Suleman is also under fire. Not only is the American Society of Reproductive Medicine investigating the octo-doc Michael Kamrava for implanting too many embryos in Suleman, the octo-doc is also reportedly under investigation for over-implanting another woman! Dr. Kamrava reportedly implanted a 49-year-old mother of three with seven embryos — when the woman already had three grown children from a previous marriage and just wanted one more child.

Yesterday, TMZ got their hands on a photograph of Suleman looking enormously swollen and ready to explode shortly before her miracle delivery on January 26. Meanwhile, Suleman is living in an undisclosed location and spends time with all her children. Her eight newborns are expected to remain in the hospital for several weeks.

She seems to cleverly get $$$ for anyting she wants. Getting her lips injected would only have cost her about $300 to $500, but won’t last very long. The drs. weren’t sure about the rest, but all seemed to think she had some nose work done too. With her, nothing seems impossible. If she wants it, she seems to manage to get it. Spoiled brat - huh?

She needs to quit putting herself out there in this spotlight - people would not be going after her if she were not saying “Hey look at me - give me, give me, give me.”

More like, “Take me, take me, take me, please …” She emits desperate calls for help, and thus far, no is listening, least of all her physicians. If we’re not carefully watching her, we may end up in shock over what could happen to her children. They need to be out of there, and let her be treated and get well. Think about it.

I don’t know how old her previous children are (and I don’t want to read enough about her to find out) but what a horrible burden she is putting on them! As soon as they are old enough, will they have any life other than caring for their younger siblings? Back in the 50’s and 60’s, I had a friend who was one of 17 children in a very Catholic family - several sets of twins - and the resentment of the older ones, directed at the parents, was very sad.

This doctor defimitely needs to lose his license. Doing in vitro and implanting 8 embryos into Suleyman was BLATANT malpractice. This woman truly needed a psychiatric consult in lieu of in vitro! It has now made the news that 3 out of Suleyman’s older 6 children are recieving disability payments from the state. YES it is these children who are the victims of this medical misadventure…How many of the octuplets will also be disabled like their older siblings?

I blame the doctor who first of all responds to a demand for more children and then puts in a basket full of eggs. Come on , where is the pure logic in all of this.? When is enough, enough?

I keep hearing that the doctor’s IVF technique itself is different than the norm. Is it possible that he did the IVF for free in exchange for her willingness to be the host of his implants? Bet the ex-husband can write a book about her and make a fortune. Smart man for hibernating. There are a lot of similarities between animal hoarders and Suleman. There are three mental disorders commonly found in people who hoarde animals: • Attachment disorder: primarily caused by poor parent-child relationships or domestic trauma during childhood; characterized by an inability to form close relationships in adulthood • Delusional disorder: lack insight into the extent of deterioration in their habitations and on the health of their wards, refusing to acknowledge that anything is wrong • Obsessive-compulsive disorder: hoarders often have a strong sense of responsibility to take care of and protect Poor, poor kids. And we won’t even know for a while yet if any other medical conditions are present. Not sure, but from the videos it looks to me like a couple of her kids from the first brood may have Cerebral Palsey.

She has stated that she spent about $100,000 on IVF, so no, the doctor did not donate his services.

I do not believe anyone is threatening her or her childrens; especially the children because they did not ask to be put in the situation. The state from which she is from needs to investigate her home, because this woman has some serious mental illness. If you think that the American people should help with the care of her children she is sadly mistaken…yes provide healthcare; but giving her donations other than what she will be given by the goverenment is all she needs; you are only giving other sick and misguide female to have these inplant so the can milk the American people of their money. Please do not give to her; the government wlll take care of her family; if they wise up the will place those kids in foster or with adoptive families that cares for them. If the governenment check is not enough for her; let the doctor who implanted her give her money; as matter of fact maybe she will sue him for malpratice.

The “government”? oh, you mean tax-payers? that is where that money comes from. The government, other that the post office, to my knowledge, does not have any revenue generating agencies. She is taking money from working people that are trying to support their own families.

IMO, people are angry with her because she is symbolic of greed and excess in an economy where couples with one child are finding it difficult to make it. Add to that a website where Suleman fully expects donations, and people get enraged. I am not saying it is right or fine for people to trash her; I think it is a gut reaction to Suleman’s bad decisions and her inability to be accountable for them.

I think that the doctor should be made to pay the hospital costs for the octuplets and then they should be given up for adoption to families who would love them and pay for them.

Perfect, Delta. California is bankrupt, and really I’d hazard a guess that any threats through her website, designed by the now infamous PR firm, came after voyeuristic individuals visited the site and became mad as h,e double-toothpicks. When sick people do things privately or publicly everyone around them becomes upset at themselves for their own “insane reactions,” but it’s the mind trying to flush out all the data flowing in from such behavior - no mind can deal with insane actions of another easily. In short, it boggles the mind. Leave it to our media. Doncha wish they all would be forced to go do a year’s internship with the BBC before hitting our screens and speakers? The body language again is more than I care to view. Even advertising in America screams at us - that bloke that yells about something oxidizing (it’s really just sodium hypochloride (bleach), is typical - they all yell at us. Insane.
