New McCain Video Calls Out Media For Obama 'Love'

By The Staff at wowOwow.com

John McCain’s campaign wants people to know that the media is in love. Just not with him.

Yesterday, they released these videos on YouTube and sent out e-mails to supporters asking them to visit his site and vote on which song best articulates the press’s love for Barack Obama.

The campaign yesterday sent an e-mail out to supporters saying:

"It’s pretty obvious that the media has a bizarre fascination with Barack Obama. Some may even say it’s a love affair. We want you to be the judge. We’ve compiled two videos of the more outrageous moments of this not-so-secret love affair. Follow this link to watch the two videos and vote on which one you think is better. Your vote will determine which video we put on the air.

"The media is in love with Barack Obama. If it wasn’t so serious, it would be funny."

The first video is played to the tune of Frankie Valli’s "Can’t Take My Eyes Off You," the second to Vallie’s "My Eyes Adored You." Both montages include snippets of various newscasters and other media types just exuding praise for the Democratic presidential hopeful. One example is Chris Matthews saying Obama caused a "thrill" to go up his leg. As of 9:30 this morning, video and song #1 has the lead, 86 percent to 14 percent. There has been no official response from the Obama camp.

Josie I agree. Obama is in the Middle East right now, yet not a single story about his trip, not a photo of him with the Iraqi president. Nothing. Every article on the Obamas since I’ve been coming in here have been mostly bringing up negatives. And yes, glowing Cindy McCain articles, but we are still looking at Michelle Obama being depicted as a Black Radical from the 60s holding a gun. And now they’re even showing this McCain whine-fest.

DeBúrca, the truth is McCain could go on vacation until November and still win this election. The Republicans could run Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck and still win this election. This isn’t about McCain, it’s about the guy Screaming Dean is shoving down our throats. Well, my leg tingling, and since I’ve never been a 9th grade boy, I don’t get the love.

You’re right Marjorie, McCain could go on vacation and still win the election… because the press is not doing their job. McCain not being reported on, not being vetted… and it’s to his advantage because as long as the majority of Americans don’t really know anything about him, they buy into the “straight talk express” garbage.

De Búrca, you have finally figured it out. The press is so wrapped up in your candidate, that McCain is getting a free ride. Who’s fault is that? McCain is out there… all alone. He goes to town-hall meetings all by himself. He asks for debates, but no one has time in their busy schedule. He trudges from state to state, but the only local media covers him — like New Hamphire folks talking to other New Hampshire folks. Meanwhile, BO is acting the buffoon. Everyone loves a clown, but they don’t vote for him.

Marjorie, it’s because McCain has nothing to say. All he does is attack Obama, offers old solutions for huge problems, more of the same and has no inspirational qualities on TOP of that. He has nothing to say so there is no news there.

And Marjorie, I can support my candidate without calling yours names or calling his supporters names. That’s what it really comes down to. Obama and his supporters are actually FOR something. McCain and his supporters resort to name calling and derogatory insults towards Obama and his supporters because there is no excitement there. The only reason you’re voting for him is because your candidate didn’t win the Primary. In fact, most of McCain’s supporters supported someone else in the Primary, both Democratic and Republican, so since you can’t get excited about him… you (meaning his “supporters” in general) spend your time trashing Obama and his supporters, and so does the McCain camp, which is really beneath a Presidential campaign but typical of the way Republicans have been running campaigns. There is no enthusiasm for McCain he’s just an anti-Obama vote.

De Búrca, “He has nothing to say so there is no news there.” Gotcha !! If you ever get the courage, take a peek at the polls. I know it’s early, but the trend is there. Obama and McCain are neck to neck, with Obama slightly in the lead, but within the margin of error. Every Republican in the land is going to vote for their candidate, that’s a given. If Obama disgusts enough Democrats and Independents, McCain adds more to his side. McCain doesn’t even have to campaign, Obama is doing it for him.

I’ve seen the polls. Obama is still ahead. And wait until we get the two on stage for the debates after the conventions… it will be like the Kennedy/Nixon debate.

And Marjorie, I live in DuPage County in Illinois…. VERY Republican… I’m surrounded! Yet every Republican I know is voting for Obama.

Marjorie, I’ve lived in AZ longer than McCain has been in public office. He hasn’t done anything impressive to improve our State. I don’t see that he is capable of doing anything impressive to improve our country either. Even as G W’b and the Pentagon are beginning to talk about moving our troops out of Iraq, McCain keeps saying we won’t leave until we win. I ask you, ‘Win what?’ What’s the prize?

LOL” You may think it’s funny, I think our country is in dire shape and I have followed Obama for years and know he has plenty to offer and I believe he is our best chance for this country. You can vote for whomever you please but you can’t tell me tripe like Obama has nothing to say, that’s just spin and not worth my time.
