Educator's Porn Star Past as Crystal Gunns Continues to Haunt

By The Staff at wowOwow.com

Some New Jersey parents are enraged after discovering that Louisa Tuck, an aide at D’Ippolito Elementary School, had a career in the adult movie industry.

Tuck, who’s most easily recognizable by her larger-than-life breasts and better known by her nom-de-porn, Crystal Gunns, has previously appeared in magazines like D-Cup and a number of chest-centric porn flicks.

The 32-year-old decided to give up the adult-film industry five years ago and dedicate herself to enriching children’s lives, and wagged a finger this week at those who are trying to squeeze her out. She is not, however, entirely accurate: "If this is about morality, our president-elect has admitted to doing crack, and he’s our president. Does that make him a bad person? Bill Clinton smoked pot. Does that make him a bad person?" Actually, Obama has never done crack. He admitted to trying cocaine as a teenager, though.

School officials say they didn’t know about Tuck’s past, but don’t seem to be interested in fanning the potential scandal. Superintendent Charles Ottinger says his legal team has advised him not to pursue any action, and rightly pointed out that Tuck has done nothing wrong: "We have no real legal stance or legal right to do anything for two reasons — one, it’s not illegal, and two, it’s not on school time."

What do you think, lovely readers — should parents mind their own business, or should Tuck be run out of the classroom?

I think she should be judged based on her commitment to her work and the kind of job she is doing. I don’t think parents should “mind their own business” when it comes to their children. But i think they should focus on what kind of treatment and education their children are getting…. so as long as her past is ont interfering with the children’s present. leave her alone and let her get on with making a better life for herself and the children she’s working with.

Parents should mind their own business and tend to their own hypocrisy. My experience as a public school teacher is parents are the primary source of our American poor performance in education. Parents hamper a child’s education in two basic ways. One is not becoming involved in their children’s education. The other is parents do not actively support teacher’s disciplinary actions. A majority of American parents are highly irresponsible when this comes to education for children. My only suggestion for Louisa Tuck is she should wear one of those wrap around back supports like worn by workers at Home Depot. Good of Tuck to pursue a goal of making a positive difference in the lives of children. She is to be commended for this; she is doing more good than most parents. Okpulot Taha Choctaw Nation

Parents can’t say anything in this instance. If they were to even attempt to make a stink about this, many if not most of them know that would be a hypocritical stance. The porn and adult entertainment industry brings in Billions of dollars a year. That is not being done because a small fraction of Americans are buying adult products over and over. It’s because millions of us buy items we don’t openly admit to. From swinging to threesomes, S&M, light bondage and of course porn, parents engage in a whole host of sexual activities that they would never want their neighbors, families and business associates to know about. It’s the common hypocrisy we are all guilty of. Someone has to star in the films we watch and magazines we view. And sometimes these people are in roles in which they cross into our day lives, such as teaching our kids, running our coffee shops or delivering our mail. And when this happens it serves as an uncomfortable reminder of the sexual secrets we have in our closets.

I have been in EXACTLY her situation (though I never physically altered my appearance), and the company did take negative action.  I also won a settlement in mediation.  The school officials are right—Not illegal, not on company time, not current and ongoing.

The thing that always bothered me is that throughout my former career people were always telling me I should get a real job.  My job may have been about fantasy, but it wasn’t my imagination.  It was all pretty real to me, including the fact I paid taxes just like everyone else.  That being beside the point, when I left and *did* get a real job, the attitude tweaked a little bit to "just not at my company."

I’m not a religious person now, but I grew up in a Christian faith.  All I can say is those who would rather I jump off a cliff than dwell in society pre-, peri-, or post-porn often consider themselves active Christians.  Sadly, is very little identifiable Christianity in them.
