It’s too late for me to think about switching careers even as a fantasy. I have no regrets on that score.

Oh, Joan, it is never, never too late to switch careers! My dear late husband began his last career at the age of 62; I became a Realtor at the age of 61, and I’ve had many friends both male and female that have found the fun and the excitement of a new career later on in age to be the most fulfilling and revitalizing moment of their lives. No, I disagree; it’s never too late.

Joan GC, I bet you have a great imagination and thinking about what would make you, your family and the world happy —not a real indulgence. At the very least you develop YOU to a greater extent by entertaining the prospect and “noodling” it around in your head. You have so much going for you. What’s Next for JGC? How about What Else? Besides, we’d like to keep your smile around a while :)
