Palin Inaugurating Beck, Not Bipartisanship (or Belugas!)

Sarah Palin: You either love her or you loathe her. And Glenn Beck most likely falls in the former category. Why else would he invite Palin to be the first guest on his new Fox News show? That’s right. This Monday, at 5 PM Eastern/Standard, Beck will host Palin, who will be live via satellite. Welcome to the future. We’re actually pretty impressed Palin picked up the invitation; she has, after all, had less than nice things to say about the press as of late. Hmm, perhaps she loves Beck, too?

But not everyone’s loving Palin … Mother Jones reported yesterday that on Monday, while Palin is being beamed in to Fox, the Inaugural committee will host a dinner for so-called "champions of bipartisanship." Joe Biden, Colin Powell and John McCain are among the honored. And Palin won’t be there to help celebrate. Could it be that the committee snubbed the Republican governor? Perhaps, but no one’s talking. Palin spokesman Bill McAllister insisted ignorance: "I don’t know if she was invited." The Inaugural committee, meanwhile, won’t say whether or not they sent an invitation. You know what that means …

We’re sure Palin will get over it. Not only does she have Beck, but she also has a new mission: suing the federal government over their enlistment of beluga whales as "endangered." According to Palin, she and her government have done enough to protect beluga in the Cook Inlet, "The state of Alaska has worked co-operatively with the federal government to protect and conserve the beluga whales. This listing decision didn’t take those efforts into account as required by law." Experts say the beluga could be extinct within a hundred years.

That Palin — always looking toward the future!

Palin is trying to take care of Alaska business which is her JOB and needs to stay in Alaska as her state legislature begins session soon. I suspect that is why Glen is having the interview via telaconference rather than her coming to the lower 48! All this nonsense of snub by not coming to DC is ridiculous. She is darned if she does an darned if she does not. I think it great Glen having her as his first guest! The PROBLEMS she has had with the media are about gossip of her family ( not the mother of TRig….etc.) that the tabloids cannot get enough of and SOME MSM media sources are using as sources of information rather than doing their own research. I’m looking forward to the interview…. P.S. those of you that live in states that have not been impacted by severe and costly enviormental restrictions like Alaska and mine in the Pacific NW have no clue the impacts that over zealous avocates of some animals over humans does. She is doing her job …..

She is not lifting them( if you did your own research) ..she is saying that previous restrictions are working and the population is increasing. Her attempt is to keep additional restrictions that come with the endangered status from shutting down the entire bay region to begin with and the commerce and industry they have in the community . Those of us in the PACNW are already suffering from the spotted owl listing that nearly devestated us over the past years..and turned out to be another enviornmental scam!! I assume you are a vegan if you think no animal should die? Of course plants are alive as well. Do you eat Sea Kittens? Maybe we should shut down the entire NY airport after that crash yesterday since a flock of geese were taken out form the millions of planes flying daily! I’m sure more of those animals are killed evey day then Sarah and her fellow hunters..and they EAT waht they kill.

Just like she lifted the restrictions on hunting wolves from a plane—great sportsperson old Sarah. Never assume SJ. No I’m not a vegan—but I do believe that wildlife—what’s left of it need to be preserved with hunting a certain animals: Deer, Elk allowed—as for La Guardia—I’ve been there —It’s filthy—needs to be cleaned or torn down. Right, I’m sure she eats wolves lolol

As a non hunter you would not realize that limiting a over abundant herd by select hunting actually protects the animals! The places where this occured where in such remote areas that they could not access them anyother way then by aircraft. Pretty OBVIOUS you have NEVER been in the Alaska Wilderness Would you rather see them sick and dying from disease and hunger? So where would you replace La Guardia???…In your backyard? Would you be willing to drive to the next available airport…and when that one no longer meets the demand would you refuse to expand it?

Animals made it for thousands of years without humans coming in to do selective hunting. They were also better off in their natural lands without us, they didn’t get the diseases that we brought to them.

Animals also died when the herd became to large and they had disease before humans as well! Are you willing to give up your property to give them a place to live?

No where near in the quantities that they do now - and that is why there are the areas that they try to preserve for endangered animals. I wouldn’t kill any that came on my property - now a roach is a creature of a different type :-) with the size of them in TX they can fight back.

You need to do some traveling. Alaska and the PACNW has millions of acres dedicated to wildlife. All these lands are not taxable but must be maintained. Who should pay for that? Should the 40% of taxable private owned land be restricted as well? In some opinions the entire country should be a winderness area or city park.

Have traveled and lived in a lot of different areas of this country, sounds to me like you need to think about the rest of the world.

Actually I haver been in the Alaska Wilderness— the Arctic Wildlife Refuge to be exact and I climbed Mt Elias on the south coast. near Ketchikan—As for LaGuardia: clean it up NY or rebuild it.. It’s a disgrace. AS for hunting—only humans in Vietnam. how’s that strike SJ?
