Paris Hilton for President? Paris Responds to John McCain Ad With Her Own Campaign Video

By The Staff at wowOwow.com

In a 30-second campaign ad that debuted last week, McCain mocked Democratic rival Sen. Barack Obama’s image as a media star by flashing pictures of tabloid staples Paris Hilton and Britney Spears in the opening shots. This didn’t go over too well with the hotel heiress or her family, who have donated thousands of dollars to the Republican’s campaign.

According the the New York Daily News, Kathy Hilton donated $2,300 to McCain for the primary, the maximum allowed by law, as did her husband, Richard Hilton. Paris’s grandfather also sent McCain $2,300 for both the primary and the general election.

In response to the McCain video, Hilton snaps back with her own fake commercial hosted on FunnyOrDie.com. While wearing a leopard swimsuit in the video, she calls the 71-year-old senator a "wrinkly," "old," "white-haired dude," announces her plan to solve the energy crisis and also shares how she thinks, if she is elected president, she’ll paint the White House pink.

That’s hot.

Has anyone watched the ads running for commericals during the Olympics? I have seen the McCain ad calling Obama “the biggest celebrity” but they have taken our Paris and Brittany…

That must be a bit of an embarrassment for them to have had to take them out.

DeB, I cannot remember where and in what stream we were talking about Richard Holbrooke’s being on Charlie Rose. You told me you did not get to see it. Well, here it is. I watched it again, because every time I see Holbrooke, I learn something. I look forward to hearing what you think. http://www.charlierose.com/guests/richard-holbrooke

Thanks Diana, you always have great information. I’m going to take a look at it now.

Wow Diana… “several thousand Iraqis are being killed every month in Iraq”… so much for the surge working. I guess if American lives are the only ones that count you can say deaths are down… but we need to count Iraqi lives as well. That interview was excellent.

Richard Holbrooke is one reason I will vote for Obama. NO matter which Dem would have gotten the nomination, he is on everybody’s short list for Secretary of State. I think he laid out the problems for the next president very well. I checked on the list of Obama advisors as compared to McCain’s advisors, and McCains are all the same old neo-cons. And, it grabbed my attention when Holbrooke said that from what he’s read, McCain is right of Bush. That is worriesome.

Yes, right of Bush would not be good for this country. Richard Holbrooke would make a great Sec of State, and the Dems have a really great choice of people for the top jobs… this could be an exciting 4 years! And I mean “exciting” in a good way for a change.

Diana, it’s tragic (yes, tragic) the average American voter doesn’t bother to do his/her homework as you have. You’re my hero.

How sweet of you to say that, Susan. As I find information, I will remember to attach it to your streams. This election, we simply are going to have to glean as much information as we can about both men.

While we are on pop culture, I thought these interviews with McCain and Obama about their TV favorites, musical tastes, and who controls the remote were fun. Not serious… http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20217335,00.html = McCain http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20217406,00.html = Obama

Well, Paris certainly isn’t stupid, in spite of the “I’m stupid-image” she’s playing, and this video is a quite clever trick…. Except from that, I’m not to fond of her, I really don’t like the things she represent, like : “No IQ is good, if you just look good” … Suddenly it’s cool to be stupid??? Now, that’s what I call stupid!!!

Paris for “secretary of state”. Yes she can! Leaders of the world would love it! Sometimes that’s all it takes to bring peace on earth!
