Patti Blagojevich Hit With Subpoena

The hammer has fallen on Patti Blagojevich!

Federal investigators today handed Mrs. Blagojevich a subpoena to find out how much — if anything — she knew about her husband, impeached Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, and his alleged attempts to sell the Senate seat vacated by President Obama.

The subpoena requests documents that may pertain to the case, and Mrs. Blagojevich has complied, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. It’s unclear whether investigators plan to indict her in the forthcoming grand jury. Her lawyer, however, says he hopes they consider the Blagojevich’s "family structure" in making their decision.

Questions have been swirling about Mrs. Blagojevich’s involvement since earlier this year, when wiretapped phone calls caught her using expletives and telling her husband not to help the Chicago Tribune solve its money woes. The paper had run critical editorials of the Governor. In addition to the indictment, Blagojevich has lost her job in the wake of the Senate scandal.

This should have happened a long time ago, but hey, better late than never. It is time to clean house. There are a ton of people who are complicit with Blago in his dirty dealings. People who I am sure from the moment he was impeached are sweating bullets. Praying that there names don’t come up in the news. Sighing a big sigh of relief each day that passes without cable news mentioning them.  But it is only a matter of time. Fitzgerald and his team are going to bring a lot of skeletons out of the closet.

you know—-Your statement mirrored some thoughts of mine, beyond Chicago and Blago….since Obama has become the Prez, there have been a lot of skeletons coming out of the National closet, as well…..’oh the tiiiimes, they are a-chaaaaangin’

Are you kidding Tony Antone?  Nobody really cares that Patty Blagojevich cussed.  Her tone though clearly said that she was Rod’s partner in trying to get what they could out of the system.  They won’t indict her or send her to prison, women get treated differently than men most of the time especially when they have children to raise.  But, they want to squeeze her because of him.  He’s been such an idiot since this whole thing started (at least at the arrest point) that they deserve what they are getting.

Don’t forget that her father is Dick Mell.  He has been a politician all her life.  She learned from the best.  It was no accident that she married a politician and they are in the worst of the worst.

Deburca….I find it amazing that people who don’t live in Illinois know so much about our amazing politicians and their criminal and lying antics.  Do you suppose they visit Illinois once a week?  Maybe it is to get our wonderful Midwestern food… those chi-town hot dogs are really good…and while downstate be sure to get a horseshoe.  Unbelievable! The tapes don’t lie…. Patti B. is foul mouthed.  I pity the Blago kids having to live in an environment where cussing and lying outranks truth and pleasure in speaking a kind word.

With all the trouble we have to deal with as a country, the only out of state politics I concern myself with is the bankruptcy of CA and will it take us all down further with it, and getting Al Franken into the Senate. Every state is dealing with something and I can’t imagine being so into what is going on in another state down to what the ex first lady is doing.
