Will Michelle Obama be pregnant during her White House Years?

I would have to say no. Mrs. Obama’s lack of desire to achieve this goal comes from current obligations and pressures. She finds it difficult to bridge this gap — emotionally and physically. She can always change her mind; however, she is very decisive and unlikely to.

Will she want another child at some point?

Mrs. Obama is an intellectual woman who prides herself on bringing balance to her family’s life. She feels responsible to her husband and herself and also wants to ensure that her daughters are being cared for and nurtured, that she has time to spend with her family and to balance her duties as First Lady. While she views having another child as something that might be fun and very special, she feels it would be selfish and irresponsible of her at this point in her life. She wants to be an advocate for the American people, helping those who can’t help themselves. She comes from the heart of service; she is caring for what she has. She is complete. I do believe that she and Barack have joked about this, and in all seriousness I think they both feel that if the Lord wants them to have another child, they will be blessed with one. This does leave the door open for a surprise pregnancy, since it is not their intention to add to their family and I think they both would be surprised.
