Pelosi Denies 'Disfavor List,' Blasts House GOP

Nancy Pelosi came out swinging against ugly rumors today.
The Internet was positively abuzz yesterday with reports that the House speaker has a mental "disfavor" list of those who have crossed her.
Well, according to The Huffington Post, Pelosi insists nothing could be further from the truth: "They’re saying I keep a list of members. It couldn’t be farther from the truth. My commitment is to all of my members. I don’t have any list."
Pelosi also took some time today to lash out at Republicans who griped that she ignored President Barack Obama’s wish and took it upon herself to rush the stimulus package through the House. "To tell you the truth, I could have fast tracked this much faster," said Pelosi. "We ‘fast tracked it over the president’s objections’? It couldn’t be farther from the truth."

Sure Nancy..as Queen you could have just declared it law!
This story came from Liberal RAg Newsweek..not the Drudge report!
R4L: …become more like Miss Morgan, Miss Deber,…
Yup, just some glib lib having fun with the insults. Gotta be Suzanne.
And in the White House!!!!!
I agree with your thoughts Belinda, though I don’t agree with a lot of Pres Obama’s agenda, he better start at least putting forth his own budget to avoid all this pork. He said he wouldn’t do this and he’s allowing it. I realize he does not pass the budget, but you think he would speak out against this and he hasn’t.
Though I don’t think a panel is something he can really do. He is just one of the branches of government, and Congress is another that can do it’s own thing. But he IS the leader of his party and I’m not sure Nancy Pelosi believes that!
The light starts to shine.
Congress spends tax money not the president.
Which also explains why the cartoon about killing the monkey was about Pelosi.

Open Letter to President Obama:
I fault people who post on this site all the time for not doing their homework before they post on threads, and now I am guilty of that very thing.
You had stated during your campaign (if you won) said that you would limit earmarks to that of 1994 and no more, which was 7.8 billion. The current budget contains earmarks totalling 7.7 billion.
Joe Lieberman is getting $44 million in earmarks
South Carolina Republican Lindsay Graham is getting $41 million in earmarks
Kentucky Republican Mitch McConnell $75 million in earmarks.
Republican Thad Cochran is getting $76 million.
Arizona’s John Kyl has $118 million in earmarks.
40% of the earmarks are Republican earmarks. Republicans account for $669 million earmarks in the current budget.
Republicans make up 3 of the top 5 earmarkers and 6 of the top 10.
My bad! :-)
