Rosie O. Analyzes 'Angry' Ann Coulter

Rosie O’Donnell may have started a fresh feud. The entertainer, who’s known for publicly blasting other celebrities, took to the radio waves yesterday and lashed out at Ann Coulter. Chatting on Sirius/XM’s "Whatever with Alexis and Jennifer," O’Donnell offered her own analysis of the right-wing writer, who O’Donnell views as akin to inhuman.

She’s angry if you ask me. She’s full of rage. When you see someone like that, you have to go back to what happened in their childhood … You don’t know what went on in their household. Sometimes people with very controversial views, there is some part of their humanity that you can relate to. Even though they think differently than you do, you can still reach them as a human being, but she’s not one of them for me.

Asked whether she thinks Coulter’s ink-grabbing actions are simply for show, O’Donnell insisted, "I don’t think it is a show. The passion from which she spews it … It’s deep-seeded. It’s bizarre." For better or for worse, we’re sure Coulter will have something to say about that.

Someone said it, and I agree; there must be better pictures of Ms. O’Donnell on file than this one that immediately creates a bias. I can’t say I’m a fan of either of the the women’s anger-driven commentary at any given time, but these two pictures should, in all fairness, be on equal ground at least. And, having read and witnessed the commentary of both, I would say that at least Ms. O’Donnell has a sane basis for her anger, whereas I am astonished at the thought process of Coulter. Even so, I avoid both simply because I don’t like their style of delivery.

The anger and name calling and hate on this thread is very disheartening. Why does everyone keep insulting each other? This is not edifying in any way. Yuck.

Why does everyone keep insulting each other? Kitty Webb 1/19/2009 8:22 am My visceral reaction, Kitty dear, is that some have neither the education nor vocabulary to participate in meaningful dialogue, or even witty repartee. Yuck, indeed.

Agreed. We have lost the ability to debate issues in this country. Too many people simply bash the person for stating their opinion rather than simply disagreeing & stating their own opinion. Congress & Washington DC is a great example of this.

I totally agree with Rosie. God Bless America for allowing this woman to get air time.!! When you think what is going on in the world, what a waste of time to have someone spewing such hatred.

I can’t think of anyone who is more mean-spirited, hate-filled and angry than Rosie O’Donnell.

Ah jeez all this opinion from people in the limelight… go down to the food bank, the tent cities or just to the home of the family living from day to day and as them how they feel about politics and the opinions of people with too much camera attention and they will tell you they are two busy trying to support thier families and get through everyday life to give a rats patooty what they are saying… I used to get enraged hearing Ms.Coulter… but i am too busy trying to give my beautiful daughter and my three grandaughters the emotional support they need to get through life in these times…. I am thier hero not Rosie or Ms. Coulter or whatever her name is…..

So where did Rosie study to be an analysist? Does she have a degree in psychology or psychiatry? She was good in “A League of Their Own”. Oh, she’s an actress.

FOLKS!!! Time to cool down and get a grip. Some time ago, Rosie WAS invited to debate Bill O’Reilly. She spoke about lesbian marriage and made her point. I think her reasonableness impressed Bill. It was a good, thoughtful segment.

I saw Ann on the view the other day. She’s way out there. I thought the women on the view were going to behead her! Guess it takes all kinds to make this world of ours go round.
