Margo Howard Calls Rush Limbaugh a Fat Fool

Well, that didn’t take long. Obama’s been in office little more than a month and I am once more in banshee mode, alternately known as high dudgeon, about the Republicans (exempting a very few, like Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins). Republican leaders are calling it “irresponsible” to increase some taxes, along with the federal debt. Well, there is no choice! Why can’t these party hacks connect the dots and own up to the fact that these measures are necessary because George Bush, with Cheney pulling the strings, got us into this mess … mostly to help their big business buddies? Obama inherited this financial chaos. I assure you he did not choose to begin his term by rescuing financial institutions and printing money.
The putative golden boy of the Republicans, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, in a lame response to Obama’s address, beat the drum for tax cuts. Helloooooo. We had tax cuts, remember? And … the Republicans’ own George W. Bush, during eight years, ran up quite an eye-popping deficit himself.
I find it Kafkaesque that many Republicans embrace the wish voiced by that fat fool Rush Limbaugh that Obama fail. It is hard to imagine an American even saying that. Do these people not live here, too? Who in their right mind would wish failure on a leader just because their guy lost? This is partisanship on steroids, with a big dose of obstructionism thrown in.
But I have a wish, too, Rush: that when the Republican legislators battling Obama come up for reelection, they are booted out, in big numbers, with their constituents letting them know that singing the same old song is no longer acceptable. Not to mention that they were way off-key in the first place.

Hi, Mugsy! I just saw this on Huffington, and all I can say is Yea, Rahm! He called it like it is:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/03/01/rahm-on-rush-hes-the-voic_n_170854.html
I’m an independent. Socially compassionate (though the crazies often call this "liberal") and fiscally responsible (the other crazies call this the ‘wealthy elite’. elite my ass!).
I voted for both republicans and democrats in the last election. Planned on voting in the VA republican primary in 2012 (to keep the crazies like Palin out).
I will straight ticket punch for the democrats until someone in the republican party has the balls to stand up to a RADIO TALK SHOW HOST. Seriously the republican party is the mister tough nuts we protect the country and keep it safe and they cant stand up to Rush friggin Limbaugh?
Pathetic.
Sarah, thank you! I consider myself moderate, although on this site, I’ve been called everything except a Guernsey milkcow… :-) And, I’m sure after he reads this post, he (and he knows who he is) will most definitely do it.
As long as the Republican Party cowtows to this blowhard, they have lost their credibility in my book. Period.
Diana let me be the first to say -
You are a Guernsey Milkcow. ;)
(Now he can’t say it first).
Totally agree. Like there are some platforms that I actually agree with the Republicans on but as long as they dont have the stones to stand up to the crazies I don’t want them anywhere near power.
If I wanted a hateful drug addicted hypocritical moron running the country I’d advocate the resurrection and subsequent election of Hitler before letting Rush run the show.

This article is equally as hilarious.
Yeah there are always loons out there. I wish it was an internet thing but a good friend of mine swears up and down STILL that Obama took his oath on a quran.
Not that I mind the laughs they bring. Because these same nutjobs that insist Obama is covering up something about his birth certificate are the same ones which turn around and completely deny the possibility that 9/11 was an inside job. And vice versa.
Hypocritical convienent conspiracy theories for you of the month club members unite!
Margo: I agree with you on one thing, I was not happy with a big "T" $ debt over the last 8 yr. but then why in the world would I be happy with a 3.5 " T"$ debt with this guy. If Obama was really serious about helping people out, he would send us this money. The big "L" in Wash. DC have said, on the right hand, that the way to get out of this mess is to put money back in the hands of the people. Then on the LEFT hand they will take this money back with higher taxs. In D.C. you have four types of people running this country. CC, DD. LL, RR.= constructive conservative. dismal demos. lieing liberals, repulsive repub..My vote is for the "CC". When are these people going to realize that they work for us, we do not work for them.
By, William
ps. Real men do read WOW
I agree with everything you said, but don’t you get it, he gets paid millions to say exactly what he does, to be the obstructionist, to incite his followers. Where would he be if he came out and said " You know what America, out tax cuts, combined with a war, and our free market de-regulation has gotten us into a mess so we need to change " Hell no, he would be pilloried, his ratings with his dittoheads would plummet and he would be fired.
Plus, I think he really believes what he says. His hero Ronald Reagan was always for tax cuts, military spending and smaller govt. which works when times are good, but generally leaves you with a huge deficit that democrats have to come in and fix with tax hikes.
He is a loud obnoxious buffoon, and fortunately for the Democrats, he is now head of the Republican party. Keep it up Rush !
