Margo Howard Calls Rush Limbaugh a Fat Fool

Well, that didn’t take long. Obama’s been in office little more than a month and I am once more in banshee mode, alternately known as high dudgeon, about the Republicans (exempting a very few, like Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins). Republican leaders are calling it “irresponsible” to increase some taxes, along with the federal debt. Well, there is no choice! Why can’t these party hacks connect the dots and own up to the fact that these measures are necessary because George Bush, with Cheney pulling the strings, got us into this mess … mostly to help their big business buddies? Obama inherited this financial chaos. I assure you he did not choose to begin his term by rescuing financial institutions and printing money.

The putative golden boy of the Republicans, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, in a lame response to Obama’s address, beat the drum for tax cuts. Helloooooo.  We had tax cuts, remember? And … the Republicans’ own George W. Bush, during eight years, ran up quite an eye-popping deficit himself.

I find it Kafkaesque that many Republicans embrace the wish voiced by that fat fool Rush Limbaugh that Obama fail. It is hard to imagine an American even saying that. Do these people not live here, too? Who in their right mind would wish failure on a leader just because their guy lost? This is partisanship on steroids, with a big dose of obstructionism thrown in.

But I have a wish, too, Rush: that when the Republican legislators battling Obama come up for reelection, they are booted out, in big numbers, with their constituents letting them know that singing the same old song is no longer acceptable. Not to mention that they were way off-key in the first place.

And you are right I am sitting down at my computer at a great job that is paying for my education at 22 yrs of age.I already have two degrees..so you are right all I do is sit at my computer and get paid for it. One more thing, I am an African American women and I do not appreciate your comments about "black people" as you would put it.No one has to "pay" for anything. Get over yourself, the world just does not revolve around you…..racist.

Hey Kelly, I will remind you that I was NOT speaking to you and for your information I was quoting what she said. I don’t have a problem being called black.I’ll say it all day and every day because I am oh so proud of it.

And she is racist. Otherwise she would have no need to make a comment stating that black people were at a gas station swarmed together like bees. If she doesn’t like black people then she shouldn’t go to a neighborhood that is predominately black.

I love that the spending of the Republican president was the most attrocious thing on the face of the planet, but our new president, within a month of taking office, throwing the word "trillions" around like it candy at a kid’s birthday party doesn’t raise any eyebrows. I guess leftists were so busy counting every penny spent during Bush’s 8 years, that they’ve got no strength left to focus on the democratic president. It’s a shame, really. They wouldn’t even have to try hard to find things to complain about (which is, apparently — if the last 8 years are any guide — a favorite hobby).

Rachel, for the most part, Liberals are pouting children more interested in their own fingers and toes than in the truth.

Obama has just spent THE MOST MONEY THAN ANY SINGLE PERSON IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD..

Kelly I did indeed read what I submitted and I stand by it….I was not speaking with you and you decided to become her attack dog or an amateur body guard and throw your comments towards me.

If you are not black then you do not understand why some black people feel they are owed. We in fact are owed something. I am with President Obama when he stated that he didn’t want an apology or cash for reparations. He stated that if reparations were given out then it should be in the form of building proper schools in the inner city, better housing in the inner city. In my opinion Education is the number 1 civil right and black people have been at a disadvantage when it comes to it. Thus in my opinion do not give me money, give me an education (which includes college and other advanced degrees).

And since you want to talk about the Africans and how they sold each other, you are very correct this did happen. However let me provide you with a brief history lesson. The Africans did sell one another to different tribes, however their slavery was NOT the form that America chose to use. America chose to hang and burn Africans, America chose to rape black women and then use their children as slaves, America chose to make a black person 3/5 of a person, America chose to use the "Middle Passage" which if you know anything about that is too hurtful to describe, America chose to castrate and amputate slaves that had been hanged and then use their body parts as "prizes" and hang them in their windows if you do not believe me please reference: http://kathmanduk2.wordpress.com/2008/02/07/black-history-month-sam-hose…

I’m sure you will find that story more than disgraceful. The Africans used slavery it was similar to indenture servitude. One had to work for the family for so long and then they were released.

And as far as hand outs, no one is looking for a had out we just want equality, something we have been fighting for a long time now. Just because we had our first black president does not mean all are equal. We still have a long way to go as far as improving race relations in America. So thanks but no thanks to your hand out.

And what about equal education for poor white people?? You were not the only ones who suffered. But you seem to be the only ones that need some sort of reparation. We are suppose to be Americans not black ones or white ones…but just plain Americans that all need to be treated equally..and i do not beleive we are all getting a fair shake here although it was promised by Obama

Excellent point Sharon.

Based on the fact DC’s post still stands, where she called people racist then lectured on the evils of slavery…consider this;

Most slaves had a home, they had food, they had a place to retire when they could work no more. But the poor "white trash" had it worse. They had no work, they had no homes, they had no source for food.

They traveled the roads, begging for food and sleeping out in the elements. The slaves themselves felt sorry for those starving people and their children. Being white and poor in the South was the bottom of the ladder.

Many slaves would drop pieces of bread to the starving as their wagons passed by on the way to the fields.

We are either ALL Americans or we are not. This race baiting and class envy must stop, it is to be the end of us.

Republicans don’t care about poor people white or black or blue.  Why else would Jindel, (La) not want to give unemployment issurance to the people in his state.  Working people pay into the unemployment insurance when working, so all the government is doing is giving them back what was put in by the taxpayer, not even the cost of living for a lousy  poverty wages while they find work.  You republicans stink.  Anti human beings.

Kelly….the black women and men in America are owed.Slavery set our race back 400 years and the effects of it are still present. Slavery is one of the most gruesome acts upon a race, yes there have been others however that does not mean that slavery shouldn’t be looked upon in disgust because it should be.

Blacks are not immigrants, the comparison in itself is insulting we were kidnapped to America (and other countries…lets be clear about that as well). We may have the same rights on paper but we are not treated as so.You and I both know that for a fact. Racism is embedded deeply into our country and is not going to disappear anytime soon.

By the way I have my two degrees already and what I’m working on is my law degree, so I do plan to be successful. However, there are people in my race that were not able to due to financial reasons. I myself had to take out a loan because I came from a poor family however my father had great credit so I was able to have a co signer.Everyone is not that blessed.

President Obama…First Black President.

"What is so strange about being honest and saying I want Barack Obama to fail if his mission is to restructure and re-form this country so that capitalism and individual liberty are not its foundation?" he asked an enthusiastic crowd at CPAC.

Here is exactly what Rush said, fact.

Regardless of what anyone thinks of Rush…no one but the Media has put him at the helm of the Republican party. The media and OhBombUs that is.

Interesting isn’t it? Yep the poor clueless left has been lead, once again by their noses. Rush is not the leader of the Republican party. However, it is easier to stir up his supporters when OhBombUs declares that Rush is. The slobbering left slanted media jumps on the band wagon and there you go!

Rush is a private citizen who has a radio following. Many listen to him and agree with him. He is not physically as attractive as some and he has had personal issues. Perfect fodder for the left to destroy, not on political facts but on personal short comings.

OhBombUs does not respect his constituents. He knows that he can throw out disseminating trash and his minions will gobble it up and attack. He really doesn’t think much of you guys…otherwise, he would never have baited you all in that manner.

Now the dog fight is on and even if one dog doesn’t want the fight, he must fight or be devoured. Sick and manipulative, but that’s the administration that is now leading our Nation.

Rush is an easy target. It shows the true colors of the man and his Presidency. Cowardly and shallow, he demeans all of you that took the bait and responded.

He knew you would, he has been counting on it. Race baiting, class envy, fear, the tools of his trade.

How does it feel to be used in that manner? It’s just the start…

I suggest that you send that sentiment on to the White House, I don’t think that your messiah got that memo! Why would the President of the United States, use the media by mentioning Rush? Hmmm? Think about that for more than one knee jerk second.

You are being manipulated and dismissed in the worst way by your own President.
