Sarah Palin Attacks Press Over Bristol Baby Rumors

Sarah Palin’s assault on the media continues!

The Alaska governor, who last month accused Tina Fey and Katie Couric of exploiting her, spoke to Esquire this week and took on her local paper’s ongoing speculation that her son, Trig, actually belongs to her daughter, who gave birth to a baby of her own in December: "I’ll tell you, yesterday the Anchorage Daily News, they called again to ask — double-, triple-, quadruple-check — who is Trig’s real mom. And I thought, ‘OK, more indication of continued problems in the world of journalism.’"

Blogs began speculating that Trig was Bristol’s son last year. Speaking of Bristol, Palin also explained the origin of her daughter’s name: Bristol of … Connecticut. "When I was in high school, my desire was to be a sportscaster. Until I learned that you’d have to move to Bristol, CT. It was far away. So instead, I had a daughter and named her Bristol." It’s a good thing that sportscaster job wasn’t in Looneyville, TX!

Meanwhile, in other Sarah Palin-related news, the governor came out today against President Obama’s stimulus package. There had been speculation this week that she intended to support it, but the lawmaker made clear that, while she believes we need a stimulus, she’s "against increased federal programs that will become a state’s unfunded mandate to continue funding for generations."

I love Sarah Palin. She will make a great president. Everybody she picks for a cabinet position will have paid their taxes. Everybody is now seeing the dishonesty of Obambi.

While I disagree with lots of Gov. Palin’s politics, I definitely agree that the speculation of Trig’s parentage is out of line.

To All Democrats: I suggest that we do not post on any Palin topics. We are only adding fuel to the fire. Let’s not help keep her alive. Let her die in her own ember.

Why do I get the impression that Gov. Palin is the model for trailer trash. Nothing is what it seems with this woman. It is a shame that the Republican Women consider her a role model. I’m beginning to think she just might be! I have been amazed at the quality of people the RNC has chosen for leadership starting with Bush 41 and continuing down the ladder of ending up with two party representatives who could find their arse with both hands. I would love to be able to return to the GOP but not until they show a trend of integrity, honesty and fiscal responsibility. I won’t live long enough for this to occur so I sit in the shadow of the Independent party. The GOP wants a feel good leader and we need a Lion such as Teddy Roosevelt. Sandy

Make that “could not find their arse with both hands” it is early in the desert.

She like Bobby Jindal conforms to current bankrupt conservative lowest common denominator ideology. And that is why the inane horses*** about them as leaders reigns. The Repubs need to return to the conservatism and pragmatism of Barry Goldwater. Until they do, they will lie in disarray. Get back to your roots: a Burkean/Hamiltonian/Federalist agenda. Then a meaningful dialogue can occur and a slate of truly conservative candidates can be placed before the public, not the “trailer trash” you speak of.

Great idea NP, I’m with you on this one. Especially given the fact we’re not having any impact on those that think differently than we do.

Thats all you comment on is Sarah Palin. She is a bigger rockstar than Obambi anyday. More people watched her debate, then Obambi”s. She will be in national politics for along time. Once you see how Obambi screws things up, you yourselves will vote for her. If she weren’t attractive, would you like her? Of course you would.

If she was a bigger star than Obama…then she would have drawn the enormous crowds and would have won. She didn’t. She is a rock star with dummies. She isn’t attractive. She is a walking hick, snake charmer circus. A pathetic joke. Hope that’s clear enough for you. She is a travestry in every way. Totally repugnant.

Why is she repugnant? Because she hunts and kills animals. Go to peta and watch how the animals are killed that you eat everyday. Because she is against abortion. Maybe one of the millions of kids aborted every year might have grown up to be president. Now they won’t. Grow up.
