Sarah Palin, Governor of Alaska Reportedly McCain's VP Pick

By The Staff at wowOwow.com

Breaking … Fox News is reporting that Sarah Palin, the 44-year-old governor of the state of Alaska, will be named to the John McCain ticket as the vice-presidential candidate. A McCain rally is scheduled in Dayton, OH, at 12 noon, local time.

Update: McCain’s presidential campaign takes a surprise turn this morning, with the announcement that Sarah Palin, the governor of Alaska, will be introduced as John McCain’s running mate. Many are calling McCain’s pick a strategy to grab swing voters and women voters affected by Sen. Hillary Clinton’s loss in the Democratic primaries. As Barack Obama made history last night as the first black man to lead a major party’s bid for the White House; John McCain has just made his attempt to make history. If elected, Palin would become the first female VP. Click here to read more about Sarah Palin.

Hi Star. How are you? You could be right. I wrote my post from memory. But in your honor, I quickly looked for more concrete sources of what became of her after her assistance in “counting” the Florida vote — listed at bottom: http://www.slate.com/id/2121746/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katherine_Harris

Wow. All I can say is this presidential race just got really interesting. I suppose it was McCain’s only recourse after Obama’s speech last night. I think asking another rich white guy to be his running mate would have put the nails in the coffin.

Where’s Winery… she’s probably still on the floor wiping her eyes. Lordy what was McCain thinking (don’t answer that I know what he was thinking). As for a debate between Palin and Biden, I don’t really have the stomach for that.

Before the announcement of Palin, Sen McCain’s daughter(?) grimaced when he kissed her head and then she quickly brushed “away” the area with her hand … and then after the announcement, Sen McCain seemed to notice he was walking beside Gov Palin and then quickly with his arm led his wife to walk between him and the Gov. I don’t know what that all means. But I noticed.

I noticed a lip kiss at the other convention. The body language!

I, too, noticed the lip kiss, and it wasn’t with the Mrs.

Hey there Lady Gator, been looking for you! I see you are up to your old tricks—always a pleasure to see your comments. I posted to you on another thread—but welcome back! I was so worried about you—did you make it through the storm intact? Looking more and more like our man is going to take this thing…..I’m very pleased with his VP pick. If it can’t be Jindal, I’ll take her—glad he didn’t listen to the “neocons” and go with Libermann.

Rocky, McCain was probably just worried the media would make a mountain out of a mole hill if he wasn’t arm-locked with his wife.

You’re probably right. The man frightens me, so every little thing seems large. Thanks, James.

Finnaly a smart choice for McCain….people that are worried if he dies that they think she is inexperienced…she has more experience than Obama does but they are going to vote for him lol. I really don’t like either of the presidential canidates but i’ll vote for McCain who was born an American citizen at birth not like Obama whom most likely was not born on U.S. territory or was a natural citizen, making him disqualified to run as President. The truth will come out eventually.
