A Sarah Palin-Hillary Clinton Catfight? Liz Smith Explains on FOX News (Video)

What’s this about a Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton brawl? Even if Sarah Palin doesn’t become America’s next vice president, she’s not going anywhere. She’s a strong cookie — just look at how she held her own against Joe Biden at the VP debate. In fact, Palin’s claws may come out again in a catfight between her and Hillary …

If MCain wins this election, then I might consider your words 4 years from now…but he won’t win. If Obama wins, he will be re-elected for a second term—no one will want to switch horses in the middle of the stream that will be the re-building of America. Obama is not a clone of Jimmy Carter—so my guess is that Washington will not make the same attempts at replacing him after one term. Now! I know my brother would probably pay to see a catfight between the two! Maybe someone should get in touch with Don King and see if it can be arranged! Proceeds could be donated to the Treasury of the United States, Taxpayer fund! After 5 years, the interest could be phenominal! What do you think? Good idea?

Patty, I’m pretty sure if Obama wins (and I already voted for him - Oct 6th), and there’s a Demo majority in the Congress, taxes will go up and he’ll have a very rough time being reelected. Money is where it’s at, and the vast majority of US citizens do not appreciate the far-left’s ideas of humanity… And BTW: thanks to Joe agreeing that he doesn’t support gay marriage, CA’s Prop 8 is gaining again. JESUS! Why do people care what somebody else does????

If taxes go up and its because you have implemented a proper health care system whereby any illness anyone gets ever is covered totally—-and you have a very small fee for that….wouldn’t everyone be better off? The saving to American’s in general at having health care covered would be astronomical.

Yes. However, that will not get him reelected. Not only that, you have made the assumption that the Demos are all on-board with healthcare… definitely not true. However, they all (Demos & Reps) believe in spending your money on whatever is most important to their constituency that will get them reelected. Oops, there’s my cynical side again! ;-}

Sarah Palin will receive an offer for a conservative TV show, and she loves the attention, she’ll accept. There will be a “noble” reason such as a platform of “strait-talk” to the base She will complete her term as Governor of Alaska first, because she really thinks that she can be the first woman President, so she won’t close that option by leaving mid-term. Fox Channel loves her !!

I think Mary’s right, except for one thing. It wouldn’t surprise me for her to step down as governor to go for the national conservative news while she’s still hot, and I’m not speaking of looks. Could mean a LOT of $ and exposure, and maybe even a reality tv show. Stranger things have happened. She’s served two years of her four year term as governor of Alaska, and might not want to take the chance of waiting, because her approval rating with the good people of Alaska is dropping. The most recent poll I could find was conducted September 20-22, and showed her down about 14%. Chances are good the ratings will drop further following the release of the Troopergate report last night. All of this presumes that McCain/Palin will not be successful on November. The cynic residing in my brain says it might not be hanging chads this time, but something else equally strange can still come out of the closet and quell the choices of the majority.

WAIT! Coffee just kicked in. Just imagine Sarah Palin & Elizabeth Hasselbeck on the same program. Some Fox exec just had a nocturnal emission at the thought.

Oh Vivvy, gag and retch, Sarah Palin and Elizabeth Hasselbeck — which one has the best smirk?

Ugh! what a horrible thought, I dislike Hasselbeck even more than I dislike Palin.

I don’t believe you can talk of Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin in the same breath. One is an intelligent, classy, experienced woman of tremendous leadership and with political savvy. The other is, well, let’s face it, a soccer mom on steroids (to use that hackneyed expression - “on steroids”). There is simply no comparison and the majority of women are ‘way too smart not to see that. We’re all sick of the control freak Sarah Palins of this world who can’t do a thing that is worthy once they get the control without which they cannot live. I have no respect for her, her values or her example whatsoever and I’m offended on Hilary’s behalf.

Time Magazine on Troopergate Report—-It shows an inept, impetuous, amatuerish, entitled administration/Palin. Like we hadn’t noticed. http://www.time.com/time/printout/0,8816,1849399,00.html Ed Rollins GOP pundit said McCain has lost it and probably his inciting racism/violence against Obama will lead to the GOP losing 10-12 Senate seats and 25 in the House. I may weep.

I agree. How unperceptive to compare a brilliant, accomplished woman (Hillary) with the celebrity gimmick that Sarah Palin represents. If Palin were in the WH, and I more than HOPE there is no chance for that….I would have to carry a retch pail with me if I were within earshot of her Joe Six-pack commentary. She is so ill-informed and frankly…uneducated and unworldly. Dinosaurs and man roamed the earth at the same time?

Dear Liz, for once I pray you are wrong. Unlike Palin, some of us believe humans have evolved. In four years, the future should look more like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AeNe29TfFl8&feature=related
