A Sarah Palin-Hillary Clinton Catfight? Liz Smith Explains on FOX News (Video)

What’s this about a Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton brawl? Even if Sarah Palin doesn’t become America’s next vice president, she’s not going anywhere. She’s a strong cookie — just look at how she held her own against Joe Biden at the VP debate. In fact, Palin’s claws may come out again in a catfight between her and Hillary …

Liz you are looking for material. I understand. But it’s loathsome to look forward to a debate between Hillary and Sarah. That you can even consider Palin a worthy debater with Hillary Clinton speaks to your gossip column mentality. Usually you exhibit some ethical standards and common sense. This certainly exhibits a real lack of commom sense reaching for a gossipy subject that would give some [life?] to your sheet.

I Love Sarah. Maybe, in another lifetime, I could be her husband.

It looks like alot of liberal hags post comments on this site. What are you all so bitter about. Who abused you? Why are you so full of anomosity? Both Hillary and Sarah are successful females. Why the dislike for Sarah? I think her side of the issues are what is true and noble and pure and excellent. I really have nothing against Hillary, other than her liberal views. BUT THAT SARAH, WHAT A WOMAN!!!!

Please explin to me, why you guys (females) think Sarah is an idiot, and Hillary is a genius. I honestly hope Sarah Palin is president in 2012. Doesn’t that make me a feminist? Obviously, in your opinion, it does not. Can’t we agree that women are just as capabble as men to run our country. Yet, somehow, I am still a backwards country dumbass. Shame on you, for not respecting another person of your sex, who excells at what she does. You are nothing but a bunch of blind sheep putting liberalism before truth. Can’t you just enjoy another women excelling, even though she does not share your views. I need to pray that I don’t hate you as much as you hate Sarah.

Niebauer, Consider john eric niebauer if Sarah Palin were BLACK, LATINA, etc., today October 17, 2008, in the SAME circumstances would you still say that this SARAH PALIN would be qualified to be president in 2012? I DON’T THINK SO. You have a special filter for this stuff. Know you whoever the hecka you are that I dont hate Palin. What I hate is bigotry under the umbrella of the screen of righteous that you spew and put forth in your post. I know you for what you are. And I denounce you for a coward and worst. Palin does NOT excel check! She has abused her power in the very job that is suppose to illustrate her EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE. And she has incited tensions during her speeches. I am African American, know it hear it, And I am PROUD of it niebauer. Not afraid of you whoever you are. I aint going back to the old days. This is the here and now. It aint ever going to be the same. Please get your head out of the 30s-80s, it’s over for your crap. Hear it, know it. Finally, Palin does not excel. If necessary I would be happy to give you the names of WOMEN who excel today and yesterday in stark contrast to Palin. Beginning with HRC ya betcha, bye golly gee beebers!

Merrell, You call me an idiot, Andromeda calls me a racist. It’s funny how you brilliant libs resort to name calling when you can’t defend your arguments. Please define feminist for me, I am obviously so dim witted I need it explained. Your definition probably includes gun control, abortion rights and socialism. I have not looked up Webster’s definition, but I’m pretty sure I would fall in the category under their def.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.

Andromeda, Look within yourself. You are the racist, merely projecting your own issues on me (otherwise you would not prejudge me without ever having met me). My wife is not white and my children are not white. My wife is a medical doctor, with a PhD. I am a true feminist, as I want her to excel. Your hatred runs so deep you can’t see the truth.

Feminism is based on social, political and economical equality for women. Feminists can be anyone in the population, men, women, girl or boys. I did the research and have yet to found that you can only be a feminist if you are a liberal Democrat woman. DO THE RESEARCH. In regards to Troopergate, did you know that there is a photo of Alaska Senator Kim Elton, Alaska Senator Hollis French and Alaska Senator Bettye Davia in an Obama event. FYI- Palin’s ex-brother-in-law had Tasered his own 10-year-old stepson. An internal state trooper investigation found that Wooten had threatened that Palin’s father would “eat a f—-ing bullet.” Palin had raised concerns to Monegan about the fact that Wooten was still carrying a gun and working for the state. Check his record he should have been fired a long time ago because he was a risk to public safety. He also stated in the news that he behaved badly and made misteps in his choices. Monegan’s connection with Alaska state senator Hollis French is one of the reasons the McCain campaign contends the investigation is tainted. As noted above, Monegan held a press conference with the Democratic state senator after he objected to Sarah Palin’s budget. Hollis French is now managing the investigation into Monegan’s firing, and French has already made partisan remarks about it to the press, saying to the Washington Post: “It undercuts one of the points they are making that [Palin] is an ethical reformer.” Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan * 12/9/07: Monegan holds a press conference with Hollis French to push his own budget plan. * 1/29/08: Palin’s staffers have to rework their procedures to keep Monegan from bypassing normal channels for budget requests. * February 2008: Monegan publicly releases a letter he wrote to Palin supporting a project she vetoed. * June 26, 2008: Monegan bypassed the governor’s office entirely and contacted Alaska’s Congressional delegation to gain funding for a project. Palin was chosen because she’s pro-life, pro-gun, pro-drilling and pro-tax cuts. She’s fought both Republicans and Democrats on public corruption.

Tanja, We are aware of Troopergate and all the other issues that Sarah Palin is involved with. No Sarah is not squeaky clean either. More to come. I don’t like her because she is pro-life, pro-gun, pro-drilling and pro-tax cuts for the rich. I don’t Sarah has fought anything but her self interest.

One last comment…. It’s one thing to not agree with Palin’s political party however here’s something to think about. Is she a working mother? Yes Was she once a Mayor? Yes Was she the Gov. of Alaska? Yes she is the active Gov. of Alaska Is she breaking the glass ceiling in general for women in politics? Yes Is her VP nomination history breaking? Yes Is she more popular than Hillary? It looks like that may be possible. I believe that there is a website that lists both Hillary’s and Sarah’s resume. Sarah has accomplished a lot for someone her age in politics. Hillary is perhaps roughly 12 to 16 years older than Sarah. One of the differences between the two is that Hillary got into politics by ways of her husband and Sarah did not. I respect Sarah for doing that. In my opinion is Sarah a stronger woman than Hillary…..I have to say yes. I think people especially women are threatened by her conservativeness and that she actually has it all-a long standing marraige, children, a career in politics, etc…(Even her attractiveness which I find to be odd and you never hear that about Hillary). Women may compare themselves to her and feel resentful, envious, jealous, catty and that is why women have a harder time to becoming succesful. It’s not men who are the biggest boundaries…it’s fellow women. Women who are near Hillary’s age (Steinem is older but still from the same mind frame) thinking back then and still present now is that you have to pick between family or career. It may make many upset or sadden that perhaps they were wrong. The younger feminists(men and women) may feel that the older feminists beliefs maybe a bit out dated and may really prefer not to be like that at all. This is just an observation. To be blunt I want women to have more opportunities and by the time I hit 60 I will be happy not resentful of the progress made. I have many friends who are libs, dems, reps, inds, straight, gay, men and women. Everyone has an opinion about Gov Sarah Palin. It’s mostly good actually. Some disagree with her politics though. However overall she is giving Hillary competition. She’s younger which means she may accomplish a lot more than Hillary. Hopefully more women will be represented and that both female and male voters will accept that. I like, admire and respect Gov. Sarah Palin however I have the right to disagree about her beliefs as well as other politicians. I guess it’s maturity, common sense or seeing the bigger picture. Thanks for reading and much respect.

Ms. Pineda, I don’t know your political affiliation, but I do know that you deel in facts (not emotion.) I can respect a liberal who is “up front” about who she is, and does make mean accusations without substantiation. Please review Andromeda’s comments about me, and review Merrell’s coments about me. They are (in my opinion) the predominant face of the Democrat party, and it is shameful. Unfurtunatly they may have power in the near future. All I have to say is, Be careful about what you ask for. The result will not be what you think.

John (much respect and here is my response), I am a minority liberal feminist who votes for the best candidate for the job. I did over 40 hours of research and seriously gave alot of thought to this. I voted for Clinton (the first time NOT the second time), Nader (I really would like a 3rd party) and this time I am voting for McCain/Palin. It came down to common sense, research and my very strong gut instinct. Experience counts and Palin has more experience than Obama. Also my family was divided due to the wall in Deutschland. I saw a big difference between East Germany, West Germany and the States. I have friends from Cuba, Mexico and Russia who decided to move to the States and to become legal citizens. I have friends who are in the military and border patrol who I deeply respect. We need our country to be safe. Seriously that is priority number 1 for me. I fully understand that we are in a tough situation in regards to our economy. It sucks however I have faith in every citizen that we are Americans who can tough it out-that is why I like and admire Palin. Look at all the media bias for example towards her and she has handled it far better than Hillary could. Let me stress that Hillary has gotten her share of media bias when it was her and Obama. I would love for minorities to be represented because I am one however based on the research I’ve done on Obama. There is no way I can vote for him and surprisingly there are many other minorities who came to the same conclusion. Country is first for me because it is our foundation without that we have nothing. Much respect.
