Palin Pulls No Punches in Kennedy, Couric and Fey Attacks (Video)

By The Staff at wowOwow.com

Sarah Palin still isn’t reading the news!

The former vice-presidential candidate, who struggled to name her favorite papers — or any, for that matter — during the campaign, lashed out at Caroline Kennedy yesterday by insisting the public will give the potential New York senator a "free ride" simply because of her family name — and money.

Said Palin in an online video:

I’ve been interested to see how Caroline Kennedy will be handled and if she will be handled with kid gloves or if she will be under such a microscope.

It’s going to be interesting to see how that plays out and I think that as we watch that we will perhaps be able to prove that there is a class issue here also that was such a factor in the scrutiny of my candidacy versus, say, the scrutiny of what her candidacy may be.

Uh-huh … Apparently Palin missed that entire week when everyone was making fun of Kennedy’s excessive use of "you know." Sweet Caroline wasn’t the only woman Palin took a shot at in the video, entitled, "How Obama Got Elected."

The Alaska governor also took some time to criticize Tina Fey, the comedienne whose Palin impersonation raised both their profiles, and Katie Couric, who conducted the aforementioned interview. Both women, claims Palin, "exploited" her for their own advantage. With regard to Fey, Palin sneered:

I did see that Tina Fey was named entertainer of the year and Katie Couric’s ratings have risen. And I know that a lot of people are capitalizing on, oh I don’t know, perhaps some exploiting that was done via me, my family, my administration. That’s a little bit perplexing, but it also says a great deal about our society.

We’re not sure we can really agree with Palin’s charges of "exploitation." First, Fey was simply doing her job — making the nation laugh. And, as you’ll recall, Palin also poked some fun when she herself appeared on Saturday Night Live. As for Couric, well, the journalist simply asked Palin questions. It was Sarah herself who provided the entertainment value.

For those of you who want to hear what else Palin has to say for herself — including how her "mama grizzly" rises when people poke fun at her family — watch this handy video…

The “if Sarah was a Democrat” argument is ridiculous. If Sarah was a Democrat she wouldn’t be SARAH… she wouldn’t believe the things she does or say the things she did. AND, Obama wouldn’t have chosen her as his running mate because he cared enough about the country to not choose a VP who wasn’t up to the task.

You are delusional if you think ALL Dems are non Christian, pro abortion in all cases, and for Gay marriage!

Of course they’re not—that’s obvious.

What is it with you rightwinger Palin supporters? You cannot have a conversation with people who disagree with you without personal insults and name calling. Sarah Palin is unequipped, undereducated and under-informed for a job as VP, and the voters have spoken. So she needs to move on. BTW, personally, I’ve never met anyone who is “pro-abortion” but then, I don’t get my terminology from the right wing media. And there is a big difference between being a Christian and being a Christian who is trying to legislate their religious beliefs.

DeBurca Well, but Palin is getting smarter. She will or she won’t figure this out, if she does, then watch out.

Watch out for what? The base of the GOP isn’t enough to elect her, they are just the loudest part of the Republican Party. This woman is going to disappear like Dan Quayle did… maybe a little slower, but disappear she will. And you say “watch out” well, yes if you were right and this woman DID end up President of this country… we should ALL watch out because we’d be not only is bigger trouble than we’ve been under the “leadership” of her male equivalent… but we would have to live with the fact that so many of our fellow citizens actually voted for this disaster.

DeBurca Slow down. Look, she might disappear or she might not. We shall see and I have no idea nor could I guess, but she is getting smarter as to how the whole mess works. Some of her naiveness is going, and maybe this whole process will help her focus in on what people in this country want from a politician. We never know what is going to happen. Hate her if you want to. She is not the Vice President Elect, she is back in her state doing her job. It remains to be seen what she will do with what she has learned. I don’t underestimate her ability to bounce back. I don’t underestimate anyone’s ability to bounce back. She may end up like Dan Quayle or not, I don’t know. I don’t care, it will be what it is going to be when and if the time comes, and until then my interests are on the new administration and what their plans are, because those are what will have a lasting effect on me and my family.

I don’t “hate” her, I hate the type of political movement which is behind her. It goes against my view of what this country stands for.

Palin is a member of the ultra-right wing group “Feminists For Life” which is not only against Choice it is against Birth Control. That is about as far from the mainstream as you can get. And then add to is, the witch doctor praying over her, and you can see why the majority of people cringe at the sound of her screechy voice. “She wouldn’t have picked Obama”… Palin didn’t get to pick.
