Palin Pulls No Punches in Kennedy, Couric and Fey Attacks (Video)

Sarah Palin still isn’t reading the news!
The former vice-presidential candidate, who struggled to name her favorite papers — or any, for that matter — during the campaign, lashed out at Caroline Kennedy yesterday by insisting the public will give the potential New York senator a "free ride" simply because of her family name — and money.
Said Palin in an online video:
I’ve been interested to see how Caroline Kennedy will be handled and if she will be handled with kid gloves or if she will be under such a microscope.
It’s going to be interesting to see how that plays out and I think that as we watch that we will perhaps be able to prove that there is a class issue here also that was such a factor in the scrutiny of my candidacy versus, say, the scrutiny of what her candidacy may be.
Uh-huh … Apparently Palin missed that entire week when everyone was making fun of Kennedy’s excessive use of "you know." Sweet Caroline wasn’t the only woman Palin took a shot at in the video, entitled, "How Obama Got Elected."
The Alaska governor also took some time to criticize Tina Fey, the comedienne whose Palin impersonation raised both their profiles, and Katie Couric, who conducted the aforementioned interview. Both women, claims Palin, "exploited" her for their own advantage. With regard to Fey, Palin sneered:
I did see that Tina Fey was named entertainer of the year and Katie Couric’s ratings have risen. And I know that a lot of people are capitalizing on, oh I don’t know, perhaps some exploiting that was done via me, my family, my administration. That’s a little bit perplexing, but it also says a great deal about our society.
We’re not sure we can really agree with Palin’s charges of "exploitation." First, Fey was simply doing her job — making the nation laugh. And, as you’ll recall, Palin also poked some fun when she herself appeared on Saturday Night Live. As for Couric, well, the journalist simply asked Palin questions. It was Sarah herself who provided the entertainment value.
For those of you who want to hear what else Palin has to say for herself — including how her "mama grizzly" rises when people poke fun at her family — watch this handy video…

DeBúrca obj - The day some Americans voted for Obama was the day America lost its brain. Apparently you are still looking for yours. Letting the media have so much influence that they actually controled the outcome of an election in America was devastating to me. Letting the media with the help of Hollywood sway voters in America was even more devastating. I wish this site would start posting stories about what is now ‘allowed to be found out about Obama’. I do not think he is an evil man - I just happen to think that his inexperience will cost this country more than we ever imagined and that is from research I did all by myself. The election was not a landslide. Not by any means and in just a few more months America will take steps to get control of its government again. Fool us once - shame on you … Fool us twice - shame on me …. There is a grounds well of revolt against this administration that is starting to rise. As Americans we need to hold our media responsible for fairness in reporting. It certainly did not happen in this last election.
