Sarah Palin Turkey Murder Interview (Video)

By The Staff at wowOwow.com
YouTube

Poor bird.

Sarah Palin appeared on a local news station on Thursday to pardon a turkey from slaughter in anticipation for Thanksgiving. Upon pardoning a bird, the fallen vice-presidential candidate did an interview. As the Alaska governor spoke to a reporter about serious issues, she was totally oblivious that a worker was slaughtering a turkey behind her! For more than three minutes, Palin spoke about the campaign trail and her plans for sprucing up Alaska’s economy (amid plummeting oil prices, Alaska’s prize commodity). Meanwhile, watch the clip below to see what happened to the poor bird in the background:

Well, his specialty has always been screwing up the King’s English. Speaking of Bush, have you looked at him lately? He looks ghastly and totally defeated. I think if there was a way he could go to Crawford TX today, this very minute, he wouldn’t wait until January 20. Did you happen to see the YouTube where, at the G20 no one shook his hand as he went through the receiving line? I have never seen anything like it. So sad that it has come to this.

That was really pathetic. When I saw it, he looked so shamed that I had to remind myself that he earned it, because it was really hard to watch.

Here’s the link. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/11/20/world-leaders-dont-shake_n_1451… As for the turkey video, I am so glad I am a vegetarian. That was horrible—she acted like she didn’t know what was going on in the background—how could she not know? Is she really that insensitive? It was like she was baiting the people watching, by saying “I’m sure I’ll get criticized for this too.” That is a great big DUH.

I am a vegetarian as well… and in a strange way I think being a vegetarian made me more able to detach from the gore in the background enough to really appreciate the absurdity of Palin’s interview! I can’t watch that video again with Bush, it is just too disturbing… it actually makes me feel SORRY for him, even though I know he deserves what he gets. But thanks for the link, I want my husband to see that. As far as Palin saying “I’m sure I’ll get criticized for this too.” To me, along with her baiting people, that remark also reeked of her narcissism.

DeBurca—I know what you mean. When I watched the video (thank goodness it was relatively short) with Palin, at first I thought it was someone’s sick idea of something humorous—I mean, can YOU get inside the head of a woman who shoots from a helicopter for sport? I can’t. She saw nothing wrong talking lovingly about her children (especially one at war) while two animals are being mangled in the background. That is how far removed she is from the rest of the world, not just the “lower 49.” She cannot even fake empathy for animals. It makes as little sense as her non-choice stance for women (force them to have those babies! they are sacred!) and apparently teenagers as well, judging by her poor daughter. I know this kind of “Christian” woman with no empathy. They baffle and constantly surprise me. It makes no sense, no sense at all.

Diana: Don’t be silly about Bushs appearance. Obama has 40% more gray hair already. Bush has made sure you weren’t killed by a terroist for the last seven years. Now I want to tell you and all the other wonderful people on this website about many of the other blogs available. 1. Saudi women struggle to break free from abusive husbands. 7 comments. 2. Africa needs empowered women. 3 comments. 3. U.S. may have tortured a Pakistani woman. She is missing, but accused of killing U.S. personnel. 1 comment. 4. Letterman confronts Couric about John McCain 6 comments. 5. Couric on Letterman discussing Palin. 37 comments. 6. Palin turkey murder interview. 86 comments. If you really want to change the world, you have to become involved. Women in Saudi Arabia need your help in understanding that the beating of women cannot be tolerated. In Africa where children die by the thousands, women are raped by the thousands, they need strong women to start the necessary changes they need. You have the opportunity to involve yourselves in dialouge that would acheive that. Instead, you cannot stop talking about Sarah Palin. Palin was the mayor of a small town, then voted in as Governer of a State, then thrust into the national spotlight as a VP running mate. Couric could’ve asked her anything, but she obsessed about newspapers and magazines. I know women hate other women, but one thing you’ll never get from Palin is bullshit. If Palin believed, by lying about her view regarding abortion would win her an election, she would’nt do it. You don’t have to agree with her views, but they’re the truth. I’ve never heard a good reason why any of you dislike Palin. Its always the same, shes uneducted, and of course the Couric interview. No one on here knows Obama anymore than Palin, but you have treated her as if she were dirt. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. I’m sure most of you have already purchased your turkey for Thanksgiving. I’m not sure what type of bird you bought, but turkeys that take their own lives seem to be very popular. Of course turkeys that commit suicide are more expensive. The ones that jump off tall buildings are the cheapest as they’re more messy. The most expensive turkeys, are the ones that hang themselves. When serving a turkey that took its own life to your relatives for Thanksgiving dinner, you’ll have that peace of mind knowing it wasn’t M U R D E R E D !!!!!!!

Thousands of Americans were killed during Bush’s watch on 9/11. You have no proof that anything Bush has done has saved us from anything since. So what we have is a major terrorist attack 9 months after he was sworn in, a decimated economy, a government that has actively eavesdropped on its citizens, invaded a country that did nothing to us and helped to grow a fringe group of terrorists into a global movement, has lowered all environmental regulations in place when he got in, weighed against your speculation that he saved us from another terrorist attack, though we have no reason to believe another attack was even planned.

and btw, if Bush had done ANYTHING to stop any REAL terrorist attempt, only a fool would think the American people would not have been made fully aware of every detail of such a success.

I am a vegetarian who worries more about the miserable lives these creatures are forced to live than the fact that they are eventually killed to eat. However, the point about this thread, is that Sarah Palin is an idiot for allowing herself to be interviewed in front of the spectacle of turkeys being slaughtered. And, considering how some people are trying to promote Palin as a political leader, this video provides a public service in that it allows the general public to have further proof of this woman’s lack of sense. Information is vital to a democracy.

Excuse me, Frank? 1. I have a vast knowledge of womens rights and conditions all over the world. So, I don’t need to be preached to. 2. To say categorically that women hate other women shows your complete ignorance on the subject. 3. By your comments it is obvious that anything I would say about Palin would fall on deaf ears. 4. I don’t appreciate the BS word in a post. We try to keep it clean, although sometime we do make a slip or two with our language. 5. Have a nice day….

I cannot believe how that turkey was suffering. Are all turkeys killed in this fashion???

Yes they are—chickens too and beef cattle—humane? I worked in a slaughterhouse when I got out of the Army for 1 yr—that was enough to put me off hot-dogs for life.

What is it with Palin and killing animals—wolves, moose and now turkey??? In 2012 the Repubs will be chanting Kill baby, Kill!!!
By Brooklyn Gal on 11/21/2008 9:55 am

Oh they already did that during McCain’s and Palin’s campaign and it wasn’t a turkey or farking moose they were talking about/
