Sarah Palin Turkey Murder Interview (Video)

By The Staff at wowOwow.com

Poor bird.

Sarah Palin appeared on a local news station on Thursday to pardon a turkey from slaughter in anticipation for Thanksgiving. Upon pardoning a bird, the fallen vice-presidential candidate did an interview. As the Alaska governor spoke to a reporter about serious issues, she was totally oblivious that a worker was slaughtering a turkey behind her! For more than three minutes, Palin spoke about the campaign trail and her plans for sprucing up Alaska’s economy (amid plummeting oil prices, Alaska’s prize commodity). Meanwhile, watch the clip below to see what happened to the poor bird in the background:

Hmmm. Here’s food for thought. (Sorry I couldn’t resist the pun however tacky.) If democrats are turkeys, then are they not the more nutritionally sound, pack-a-punch pure protein examples of a healthy diet at the moment? Particularly if they are organic. Most Dem’s are I think! ;) And then, who would ever consider eating a Republican? Er, I mean a vulture???

How Sarah Loads the Dishwasher — I’m sure she doesn’t know how to do it right.By Marjorie C. on 11/21/2008 12:43 pm You know Marjorie C. you are right - the dishwasher video would give plenty to talk about. She would say something in that odd verbal style- Well anyway the turkey one was great. I plan to enjoy my turkey. By Okpulot Taha on 11/21/2008 11:30 amI am amused by Americans who gobble down animals with delight, while demanding to not learn of how those animals die for them. You really are amused by us. Yep we don’t want visuals of animal slaughter.

I just think we all need to remember that if we are meat eaters or fish eaters, an animal has laid down its life for our nutrition. And, that is why the Indians thank the animals and honor them, and the animals are so important to their religious rituals. The Sacred Buffalo stories are very important here because the Indians knew that the buffalo gave them food, shelter and warmth. And, so it is a sacred symbol. When the White Man slaughtered them and let them lie, it was a huge sacrilege in the eyes of the Indian tribes. In our modernity, we have forgotten to honor the animals that we eat. We have forgotten the sacrifice myths of all peoples for all ages. Thank you, Joseph Campbell, for reminding me of these wonderful myths.

Why are liberals upset with the killing of some Turkeys but OK with the killings of unborn babies?

Merrill: I want to tell you and all the other wonderful people on this website about many of the other blogs available. 1. Saudi women struggle to break free from abusive husbands. 7 comments. 2. Africa needs empowered women. 3 comments. 3. U.S. may have tortured a Pakistani woman. She is missing, but accused of killing U.S. personnel. 1 comment. 4. Letterman confronts Couric about John McCain 6 comments. 5. Couric on Letterman discussing Palin. 37 comments. 6. Palin turkey murder interview. 86 comments. If you really want to change the world, you have to become involved. Women in Saudi Arabia need your help in understanding that the beating of women cannot be tolerated. In Africa where children die by the thousands, women are raped by the thousands, they need strong women to start the necessary changes they need. You have the opportunity to involve yourselves in dialouge that would acheive that. Instead, you cannot stop talking about Sarah Palin. Palin was the mayor of a small town, then voted in as Governer of a State, then thrust into the national spotlight as a VP running mate. Couric could’ve asked her anything, but she obsessed about newspapers and magazines. I know women hate other women, but one thing you’ll never get from Palin is bullshit. If Palin believed, by lying about her view regarding abortion would win her an election, she would’nt do it. You don’t have to agree with her views, but they’re the truth. I’ve never heard a good reason why any of you dislike Palin. Its always the same, shes uneducted, and of course the Couric interview. No one on here knows Obama anymore than Palin, but you have treated her as if she were dirt. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. I’m sure most of you have already purchased your turkey for Thanksgiving. I’m not sure what type of bird you bought, but turkeys that take their own lives seem to be very popular. Of course turkeys that commit suicide are more expensive. The ones that jump off tall buildings are the cheapest as they’re more messy. The most expensive turkeys, are the ones that hang themselves. When serving a turkey that took its own life to your relatives for Thanksgiving dinner, you’ll have that peace of mind knowing it wasn’t M U R D E R E D !!!!!!!

Lynn, THAT is a very good question! Here is some information and you are welcome to spread the word. Excerpts from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norma_McCorvey Norma Leah McCorvey is best known as the legal pseudonym “Jane Roe” in the landmark Roe v. Wade lawsuit in 1973. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that abortion is a Constitutional right, overturning individual states’ laws against abortion. Years later she recanted her support of abortion rights. She wrote in her book, Won by Love, “I was sitting in O.R.’s offices when I noticed a fetal development poster. The progression was so obvious, the eyes were so sweet. It hurt my heart, just looking at them. I ran outside and finally, it dawned on me. “Norma,” I said to myself, “They’re right.” I had worked with pregnant women for years. I had been through three pregnancies and deliveries myself. I should have known. Yet something in that poster made me lose my breath. I kept seeing the picture of that tiny, 10-week-old embryo, and I said to myself, that’s a baby! It’s as if blinders just fell off my eyes and I suddenly understood the truth—that’s a baby!” I felt crushed under the truth of this realization. I had to face up to the awful reality. Abortion wasn’t about “products of conception.” It wasn’t about “missed periods.” It was about children being killed in their mother’s wombs. All those years I was wrong. Signing that affidavit, I was wrong. Working in an abortion clinic, I was wrong. No more of this first trimester, second trimester, third trimester stuff. Abortion–at any point–was wrong. It was so clear. Painfully clear.”[4] In 2005, in McCorvey v. Hill, she petitioned the Supreme Court to overturn the 1973 decision, arguing that the case should be heard again in light of evidence[citation needed] that the procedure harms women, but that petition was denied. Despite asking for an abortion in her original suit, McCorvey never had the procedure. She gave birth to a girl, who was placed for adoption. As is common in contested (and sometimes uncontested) cases, the court decision took longer than the nine-month pregnancy. On January 22, 2008, McCorvey endorsed Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul. McCorvey stated, “I support Ron Paul for president because we share the same goal, that of overturning Roe v. Wade. He has never wavered on the issue of being pro-life and has a voting record to prove it. He understands the importance of civil liberties for all, including the unborn.”[7] To know more about Norma Leah McCorvey http://www.leaderu.com/norma/index.html Lynn thank you for speaking up.

I think if you eat meat…you don’t really have anything to complain about with this video. It’s brutal, but that is the reality. Meat just doesn’t get onto your plate by the fairy meat mother. I actually respect people less when they won’t look at the practices and the deaths they are causing by eating meat. They just want it prettied up and so no sign of the brutality is left.

You respect people less if they don’t care to see a steer being butchered. Thats the dumbest thing I’ve seen written yet. Why don’t you start your own tour company which takes people to the nearest slaughtering plants, that way you can show them the pactices of death you obviously know so much about. I have to leave now, time for dinner. I’m having a nice rib eye steak cooked rare. What are you having for dinner today, a mushroom snadwich? If you don’t want to eat meet, bravo. Your shit stinks just as bad as mine.

How you Liberals can be so upset over these trukeys and not be upset over the butchering of aborted babies is beyond me. You value animal life more than you value human life.
