Sheila Nevins Wants Only the Deepest, Darkest Truths

Sheila Nevins
Under Sodium Pentothal or any truth drug, I would want to delve deeply into her sub-conscience. Be this truth serum is not the impetus for the novel; I would not want to read it. It’s her deepest darkest secrets that interest me.

Yes, I would like to learn more about the real Laura, but she will never spill her guts.

Agreed Sheila. If she were writing a frank accounting of her life her autobiography might be incredibly interesting. However I wouldn’t shell out any money for the book and I doubt that she’ll do more than lightly tease the subjects we’d really like to know more about.

I agree, I would only want to read it if she was able to reveal her TRUE feelings, opinions and emotions. I find it terribly interesting that a librarian, a woman who is absorbed with the written word, intellect and education, would gravitate romantically toward a man like George W. What deep and insightful conversations could they possibly have? Where is the depth in him that she saw? Was it simply because he was a “bad boy” a “rebel”? Is Laura Bush one of those women who allow her genitals to run her life? Was it the sex? Is George W a man that blew her mind sexually and like a bee to honey she was forever hooked? I would love to know why she chose as she did when it comes to her marriage. Both she and Maria Shriver are women that confound me when it comes to their choices of husbands.
