The Blame Game: Why Is the Price of Gasoline Through the Roof?

Prices at the pump hit another record high Thursday as the average national cost per gallon of regular gas jumped 2.3 cents overnight to $3.556, according to AAA. Whose fault is this? You are most certainly entitled to your opinion. Unlike many of the other women on this site, I can tolerate differing points of view. I may not agree with you, but your opinions are not inciting me to abuse you. Keep ruffling the feathers, it’s fun to watch!

Ms. McGinnis, there’s “differing points of view” and then there’s immature, hateful, woman-bashing little boys in men’s clothing who make deliberately inflammatory remarks only to garner attention from the mature, intelligent ladies on this site, which was DESIGNED FOR AND INTENDEND FOR *W*O*M*E*N*. And unlike many of the other women on this site, YOU enjoy the rabble-rousing, which says much about your intelligence and maturity. This is supposed to be a website about sisterhood, bonds between women, mature ladies sharing ideas and opinions; not - repeat - NOT - a single, lonely man who likes to cause trouble by insulting women and womanhood, and a lone, twisted girl-person who cheers him on . Say whatever drivel you wish in response. It means nothing to me, because you have zero credibility as far as I’m concerned.

If you are too thin-skinned to handle a different point of view, then you must not feel confident in your beliefs. They way you all respond to this man and others who disagree, only proves exactly what I stated earlier. If you were mature adults, he wouldn’t be able to get a rise out of all of you. Look at what you just wrote—it’s insulting, hateful and condescending. I don’t agree with him or most of the liberal women on this site, but I don’t feel the need to attack anyone, only defend myself. And just for the record, I could care less you think of me.

If you were mature adults, he wouldn’t be able to get a rise out of all of you ya know, you may (albeit condescendingly and insultingly) sound like the voice of reason in this post. But I have seen some of the other posts you have written. And I would say, you’ve given as good as you got. You’ve been pretty condescending, dismissive, insulting and hateful, yourself. So maybe it’s not just a character defect. Maybe it goes deeper than that. You’ve made quite a few remarks about Liberals and Democrats and Socialists and Marxists and you were not defending yourself. You were just insulting Democrats.

Exactly, I made remarks about Democrats, liberals and Marxists, not individual persons. There are plenty of posts here that are insulting to Republicans and conservatives, but I don’t take that personally. Now, I realize things started to get ugly with the “Princess”, but she was relentless in this “Mark Klein” theory of hers and she continued to personally insult me. I am beginning to see a pattern here, every time someone of my persuasion comes on this site and gives an opinion, they are immediately mocked and criticized. A lot of them never return. This site has be usurped by you and your left thinking friends who are seeking validation rather than thought provoking discussions.

Oh no! It’s a left wing conspiracy! Mocking and insulting Democrats is supposed to engender thought provoking discussions? You tried to provoke people; mocked and laughed at them when they got ‘provoked’; told them you were having fun. And when it all got out of hand, it wasn’t any fun anymore. For years , ‘people of your persuasion’, have called liberals wusses and weak and pushovers, because they were polite and believed in listening and in civil discourse. But now there’s a lot of anger in this country. And it’s not about anything so shallow as validation. It’s about our country being usurped. We’ll just have to wade through the anger. When people are dying and rights are being ripped away, it’s not a ‘mocking the liberals’ game. It’s all very personal. And don’t pull that “people of your persuasion are criticized’ crap on me. I’m an equal opportunity ‘STFU’er!
