Why Are People So Interested In 'The Telling'?

By The Staff at wowOwow
Bridget Marquardt, Hugh Hefner, Holly Madison

A new horror movie called "The Telling" caught our attention this morning as we noticed it was a rising keyword on Google trends, meaning people were searching the phrase on the Internet.

What could this film be about — and why are people so curious? It must be the cast, which includes former Hugh Hefner girlfriends Bridget Marquardt and Holly Madison. The blonde beauties are best known for their roles on the reality show "The Girls Next Door," but are now getting a chance to excercise their acting chops in this new movie, which focuses on a group of sorority girls who require pledges to tell a "very scary story." Those stories — involving a murderous doll, the undead and a hunt-and-kill frightfest — end up inspiring a crazed killer to commit their own murders.

We’re shivering — and not at this preposterous plot.

True, it’s not scary, but it’s kinda fun. I worked on it and I’ve seen a cut. No Oscar performances, but it doesn’t take itself too seriously, either.
