Eleanor, the truth will eventually out. It always does. Of course in my other conspiracy theory moments I also consider my alien invasion theories. ;) The Worms, as I call them (big fat corpulent things) are planning their evil takeover. These creatures all look the same, puffy, round and soft - Rove, Gingrich, Ken Starr, Cheney. Jon Stewart described Rove recently as a man with a head that looks like a big wad of bread dough - this description fits my Worms theory. These ruthless Worms control their worker bees and inject them through the govt. to do their bid - the workers tend to resemble more of the preying mantis types, Condaleeza Rice, Rumsfeld, etc. In this theory, Obama and Palin are both preying mantis operatives of the Worms. Biden and McCain are the unwitting humans caught in the fray. ;)

Actually, the Chicago Tribune (conservative paper) demanded the divorce documents of Blair Hull (D) be opened, which they were and he had to drop out of the Senate race because he hit his wife. Then later in the race, due to fair play and in order to not be seen as favoring the Republicans over the Democrats the Chicago Tribune demanded Jack Ryan’s (R) divorce records be open as well and it was revealed his wife accused him of forcing her to have sex with him in front of others and with others at sex clubs. Obama had nothing to do with either, but both candidates sordid divorce scandals put them out of the race.

No Kill and Drill Palin
Here’s Huffington Post with Sen. Tim Johnson of South Dakota calling Sarah Palin “not ready” to be vice president, referencing her recent statements on Russia and Iraq and her “laughable” experience arguments. “One enters Johnson’s private hideaway office in the U.S. Capitol to find the Democrat sitting next to a stack of newspapers. While his staff is undergoing a wholesale office move this week, the Senator is working here, only a couple paces from the footpath of tourists, who stream steadily through the hallway just outside the small office’s door. Up for reelection this year in a deep-red state, the Senator was eager to talk politics. Declaring himself unimpressed with Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s first interview with Charles Gibson Thursday night, Johnson called her “not ready” to lead the country as vice president. “And this idea that she has national security experience because of the Alaska National Guard, it’s just laughable,” he added. On the topic of Russia, Johnson said he would have been comforted if her statements in support of a possible war with the nuclear power had been joined “with some discussion of diplomacy.” Nodding toward the pile of newsprint, Johnson said Palin “thinks Iraq had something to do with Sept. 11,” a reference to a Friday Washington Post article in which the Alaska Republican is quoted telling soldiers headed for deployment that they would soon be “defend[ing] the innocent from the enemies who planned and carried out and rejoiced in the death of thousands of Americans.” “I don’t know what else you can do except just keep repeating the facts on Iraq,” Johnson said. “I do it until I’m blue in the face.” Though his speech and body movement remain affected by the severe brain hemorrhage that nearly killed him in late 2006, Johnson expresses a palpable desire to keep moving ahead on his top priorities, which include job creation, in addition to farm assistance and water development. “South Dakota is a very dry state,” Johnson said, adding that the earmark process frequently vilified by John McCain is actually critical for some of his constituents. “We need a lot of work on [these projects] to keep the clean water pumping,” he said. He even offered a bit of advice to Barack Obama, suggesting that the Democratic nominee should point out the ways in which these programs benefit average Americans. “I think John McCain’s mantle of ‘reform’ can be challenged,” Johnson said. “Especially since he’s backed away from some of those issues that gave him [that reputation], such as immigration reform.” The Senator also shared a personal story about working in the Senate with John McCain. When serving as the body’s rotating chair, Johnson recalls an episode in which he was told, mistakenly, by the Senate’s parliamentarian that another Senator was floor manager when it should have been McCain. “Boy, he really gave me heck for that,” Johnson said, though the only impact was a few minutes lost on the Senate floor. “I explained I was just doing what the parliamentarian had instructed me to do, but boy … he can be hard to work with.” Johnson said he was recently reminded that he’s hardly the only Senate colleague to have experienced McCain’s reportedly white-hot temper. “We had a caucus the other day and Harry Reid asked everyone, ‘raise your hand if you’ve never been insulted by John McCain,’” Johnson noted with a glint in his eye. “And no one did.” FYI— because someone mentioned posting entire posts….I looked up Fair Use….is you aren’t doing it commerically and credit source it’s fine.

I’ve heard senators say that you could not have been in the Senate any length of time and not have a John McCain violent temper story. I hear the frustration in Tim Johnson’s “voice” here, it is how we are all feeling. I’m even hearing it by some political analysts.

DeB—David Swanson, author of ‘After Downing Street Memo” posted this piece on Smirkingchimp.com….it’s a Christman letter to Obama about why he lost. I’m really concerned about voting machines too. Even Newsweek said the GOP is already doing all sorts of voter suppression things in Ohio, etc. We are watching a repeat of 2000,2004. This thing is so imp I feel like…find a nice way to replace Biden with HRC and do it now…of course that would be the ultimate flipflop and would dominate the news for weeks…and we have 8 weeks. What is with the Demos that after 8 years still don’t have the voting machines rectified?? http://www.smirkingchimp.com/thread/17107

That is a great article. I hope Obama reads it. The part about the voting is frightening. I have no idea why this hasn’t been more of an issue. I heard that awhile about about how in the primary the exit polls would be so beyond the margin of error and that the caucuses couldn’t be tampered with and he won the way the polls had predicted. In some places I heard that the actual vote was a mirror image of the exit polls, as though the votes for Obama and the votes for Hillary were flipped from what they should have been. The November election is going to be even easier to tamper with. Yet, it is not even talked about in the media or on the floor of Congress.

The question of validity of ballots and the method to verify them after the November vote should be decided by a bi-partisan committee prior to the election. Another arduous task, but perhaps necessary, is to have the voting machines validated prior to the November election. Is there a standardization for method of voting across the country? In our small town, which counts CEO Rex Tillerson among its residents, uses ballots and push pins. We’ve talked here about a general dumbing down of citizen knowledge/interest in social/political issues as well as education/intelligence, in an election which will,no doubtedly, draw the largest participation ever, the bottom line will be the accuracy of the ballots. We cannot afford another Florida or Ohio. Peace and grace

Oh, and FYI to everyone, here is the latest on “Troopergate”: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/09/12/palins-husband-subpoenaed_n_126…

Oh who really cares about “trooper-gate.” I think everyone has a pretty good picture of who Palin is now. She’s an ambitious one, like Obama. She takes no prisoners, like Obama. She cuts down any in her path, like Obama. Obama has his Rezko debacle. She has her Troopergate, (which is pure supposition at this point) but we all know this is a woman who uses her influence and isn’t afraid of wielding power as she sees fit. I wouldn’t want to cross her, that’s for sure. So what. Why flog it? She’s the man now. Well… wo-man.

I don’t put any credit into a you tube video claiming fraud. Find a qualified source and post the link and I’ll read it.

It was all over the news media when it was happening DeBurca. Hillary’s campaign was in an uproar. The media did not follow up on it enough however… they were too busy shining Obama’s shoes.

It was not all over the media. What I heard all over the media was that the Obama camp won when during the caucuses because the votes couldn’t be switched but for some reason in several states where he lost, the votes came out flipped the opposite way than the exit polls indicating possible voter fraud. Now if you have a link to a reputable source questioning the fraud you are insinuating, paste it here and I’ll read it.

It was on the media I was watching, Cspan and CNN and PBS and ABC. All mentioned it. People were calling in to Cspan totally freaked out. Hillary’s camp was in an outrage. It was on NPR.
