'Trouble' in Paradise? Leona Helmsley's Dog Gets Her Rations Cut

© AP
Trouble is still in paradise, but the late Leona Helmsley’s beloved canine must say good-bye to a chunk of her hefty inheritance.
A Manhattan judge severely reduced the $12 million bequest that the notorious "Queen of Mean" left to her dog Trouble, according to the New York Post. Helmsley died last August at the age of 87.
The nine-year-old pooch will now have to get by on a piddling $2 million, losing $10 million of her original inheritance to charity.
But the moneyed Maltese’s new guardian told the paper that the pooch will survive. Believe it or not.
