My Thanksgiving will be very busy - waiting for leftovers is a full time job which I take very seriously. I am thankful for my good home, my good friends and the opportunity to express myself on WOW especially with my new friend Jane Wagner, she doesn’t mind conversing with a cat. Dice, the Nice

We all love you, Dice. You are a sweet, handsome young feline. Happy Thanksgiving—I hope your human gives you lots of turkey.

Dear Serena: HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you. I love you all, too. I may be sweet and handsome but I really am not a youngster - like I’m around 15 or 16 years old. I’m still active and happy. I am very sure I will get my share of turkey as will my kitty brothers and sisters. Thank you for your good wishes. Love, Dice

Then there is my sweet, well-mannered dog, Sierra, who would deftly pull the turkey off the cutting board if I dare turn my back for a moment. Dogs love Thanksgiving, too! Here’s something none of my Thanksgiving guests never know, because I do it on the sly, but I’ll share with you all: When I’m in the kitchen rinsing dishes to put into the dishwasher, I place the cutting board — with bits of turkey and juices — on the floor for my dog to “help me clean.” :-p

Susan B. Ut oh, the secret is out! Now, people will know why my dishes are usually easier to clean after a big dinner. Dogs do such a good job of cleaning up afterwards. ;-)

My secret, too! For some reason, I find a used meat cutting board revolting. My dog finds it quite the opposite. Win-Win.
