Which Author Does Joan Ganz Cooney Love?

Joan Ganz Cooney
I love anything Tina Brown writes and also E. L. Doctorow and Jonathan Chait of the New Republic and Jon Meacham of Newsweek (who has a wonderful cover essay on Sarah Palin and writes fabulous books on American history) and many others.

Doris Kearns Goodwin for one. She manages to make current history and the past interesting. Howard Fineman seems to be honest writer and I enjoy what he writes. Tom Brokaw for his Greatest Generation. That was not the only great one but it’s mine excluding me. Almost all modern writers where I don’t have to feel like an intellelctual to understand what they are saying.
