Dear Whoopi, its a while since I last watched this nice little Mothers day Wish of you. I’m no Mother, yet, but hope I will be once. I only wanted to say thank you because even if i’m no Mother I enjoy watching this lovely video, everytime i’m a bit sad, because you always make me smile and feel a bit warmer. At the moment I have to work out an essay for university, and this stupid Bachelor university system takes all the breath out of everybody. And even if some professors have the same opinion, nothing changes. Thats why you are important to me. Because you say what you think and you put your finger everywhere its necessary with a long breath, cause you just can’t stop, and thats good. So thank you for remainig yourself with all your humor and intelligence and that big heart of yours and giving me the breath to continue and fight for myself and others for a more happy, loving, peacefull and fair world. Ina

Hi Whoopi, I have a complaint about the view and other shows like it. Why must everyone talk over each other? You are all intelligent and articulate women and I love listening to everything you talk about but I can’t do that when the dialogue overlaps. Besides, it’s impolite. Will you please work on that. I don’t like using the mute button because I miss too much. Best wishes, Karon Darlunde…9/25/08 @ 12:04 PM

Dear Whoopi,

Thank you for thinking about us, and those we love. My wondrous aunt is in her 90s and a woman who has been there for me, always. Now, we are convinced we are not only very much alike ("Of course, dear - we’re related!") — even politically —  but I’m convinced she is still alive for me.

This wonderful person lives two states away from me, so I’m headed there next week. She had a heart attack recently, and "drove" herself to the cardiologist in her GOLF CART, reporting to me later, "I heard you all the way telling me to "Call 911" - know what he did when I got there? He picked up his cell phone and called 911!"

See why I love this woman!

Thanks, again, Whoopi - we both deserve to celebrate Mothers’ Day, too - I birthed five, propegating 14 more!

Happy Mother’s Day Whoopi, thanks for the many laughs and fun times you have given me as I tried to raise my 5 kids.  Your humor made it easier.  I have a son with CP, and I want to thank you for your protrayal of person’s with disabilites in your one woman show.  You really get it Whoop, most folks don’t get it, he is a person first, not the boy in the chair.  Blessings to you!!  Someday I hope to meet you, you are a dear to my entire family.
