Whoopi Goldberg Flashes Her Tattoos (Video)

Liz Smith and wowOwow got a whole lot of Whoopi Goldberg when we caught up with the entertainer after a recent taping of “The View.”

The conversation began with Goldberg chatting about her new children’s book, Sugar Plum Ballerina and the Discovery Channel deal that’s in the works with her handsome business partner, Tom Leonardis.

Things then got a bit off topic when Goldberg started talking about her three hidden tattoos. Actually, she did more than just talk about them - she showed us. And, thanks to the miracle of video, to you!

Whoa, Whoopi, you totally took me by surprise there. I expected to see some small rose tattoo or something like that. But heck, those are some serious tattoos. Wow! You rock! And to think that I get my panties in a bunch over whether to get a small tattoo on the back of my neck or not. I guess I should just go and do it.

Jane: Do not go and get a tatoo, its there forever. A woman friend of mine said she wanted to get a tatoo, i told her not to. She got this ugly thing on her back. She said its a big heart with six little hearts running away from the big heart. Do not get a tatoo.

Whoopi — why did you mar your beautiful self with these tattoos? You did not need them. As far as I am concerned, nobody should do that to their body. Sorry, it is just the way I feel.

To those who have them, it is a form of art. Those who don’t understand should only concern themselves with their own bodies. ;-) I personally could never get a tattoo but I can sympathize the appeal. I think it’s quite romantic, actually - like committing yourself to a permanent reminder of whatever it is you wish to pay homage to…in the most devoted, artistic way possible.

Whoopi Goldberg has typical tatoos everyone has that cannot decide what to get. Its always something Asian. That Woodstock tatoo is the only tatoo she cares about. You say shes devoted to her tatoos. I’m sure she wishes most of them were gone. Please don’t say I don’t understand tatoos.

LMAO! I officially cannot take anything you say seriously anymore…if you’re going to get all bent out of shape over some stranger’s TATTOOS. Whoopi has mentioned a few times that she has Chinese in her family. That aside, let’s hypothetically assume that she IS typical and indecisive - so what; WHY DO YOU CARE SO MUCH? Your incessant, blatant antagonizing of Whoopi is bordering on obsessive/creepy.

Kryssi: I mentioned Ms. Goldbergs tatoos just to stir the pot. You even have to admit that, too many tatoos are unattractive. You mentioned my obsession with Whoopi Goldberg. I haven’t asked to marry me like some have.

No, I don’t have to admit that. I already explained why I find tattoos attractive. My favorite artist is covered in them and makes Whoopi look like an amateur. I think it’s sexy. Get over yourself and come to terms with the fact that not everyone shares your tastes. I suggested your harassment is creepy in the OBSESSIVE way; that has nothing to do with my ONE (obviously joking) comment about her marrying me. That’s what I occasionally say to any woman who impresses me. Lighten up. I am almost willing to PAY YOU to stop manipulating both my words AND yours whenever I confront you with your own unsound reasoning. Actually, this would work best if you would stop “stirring the pot” by replying to me altogether. I really don’t want to have to turn off my email alerts because of some clueless, disrespectful man with boundary issues on a WOMEN’s site.

Will you marry me??? Haha… Those are fantastic! YOU are fantastic! I never knew about the arm one and only caught brief peeks at the shoulder/chest dragon. Rock the hell ON, woman! I’m always fascinated by people who have multiple tats. I personally could never bring myself to get just ONE (Sagittarius here - we fear commitment of ANY kind!), so I bet, on some subconscious level of self-loathing, that’s why I find it so attractive. You should do an episode of “LA Ink” (with babe-a-licious tattoo guru Kat Von D) if you ever decide to get another… (Oh, and thank you LIZ for this footage!)
