Yep! I am with you, Whoopi. I haven’t been there either. All my life I have been a pioneer of a sort. So, Uncharted is not really significant to me, as in unfamiliar, or unaware of, as in details. I just presume everything and every place to be an adventure. Life is and has always been an adventure for me. Some of it just not as pleasant as others. Some people not as pleasant as others, either. If people could be readily categorized, I suppose I might use the term charted and uncharted as: the most likely to be understandable to the most people, most of the time, as opposed to the least likely to be understandable to the most people, most of the time.

After living life for 62 years and seemingly always having some kind of control of my destiny; waking up after surgery for Ovarian Cancer (January 18, 2008) tube down your throat, bags hanging everywhere and your belly stapled from top to bottom.. You suspect your in charted territory. There is no control and your thoughts at that moment..to live quietly wondering; under what terms and conditions. In the past you treasured life had made oodles of mistakes, wanted more time to make them up …and now your goal concentrate on being able to get out of bed and go to the bathroom on your own. You’ve dreamed of success, writing a book about everything that’s ever happened to you. Knowing in your heart someone will want to know more about you. Then this interruption, cancer the unknown, will you be a survivor or not. You’ve beat this before..you had breast cancer in February 05. It wasn’t like this, you went back to work in five days..Some how this is different. You sense the fear of everyone around you..truly this is uncharted territory.. And so it began…and forward I will go…. Dorothy from grammology http://grammology.com
