Liz, She is already taking campaign decisions away from McCain and wants the GOP back in Michigan. She may get her wish because she has Rove to back her up. Rove has made presidents out of obscure governors, and Palin knows that. Hillary thought this election season was going to be a walk in the park, then came Obama. As you stated, if Sarah doesn’t win, she will start building coalitions with the help of Rove to run for president. I don’t care how smart and qualified Hillary is because we are witnessing the dumbing down of America. If deep down Hillary wants a McCain win, she will be driving a nail in her own political coffin because Sarah is an excellent game player. If the economy goes bust under McCain, Palin will blame him for not drilling even bigger holes in Alaska.

Sarah Palin will not be taken seriously unless she learned from this mistake. Liz, Unless, Palin does something stupid, your prediction is 100%. Because of McCain she now knows a lot more people in Washington and the media. That will give her an advantage against Obama or Clinton depending on when Palin decides to run. There is another possiblity; she may go for the Senate before trying for the White House.
