This statement disqualifies her from consideration as Barack Obama’s VP. And, you won’t seem him reacting to whatever she says/does now — any more than he did during the entire Campaign. Barack Obama knows his own mind and has a strategy to reconfigure the Electorate. Thus far - successful. Historic. Positive and what will be remembered in years to come.

That decision will be made by Senator Obama, not by his supporters. Since he is spending the next few days in New York, it is clear he is going to at least consider Senator Clinton as a possible Veep.

Barack Obama is meeting with NYC financiers who have already begun transitioning over to his Campaign. They are pragmatic, if nothing else. He is securing his NY base of supporters and thanking us for holding down the fort in hostile terrain, initially. He has great respect for his supporters who took him from a non-entity and helped him beat the Clinton Machine. Barack and Michelle Obama will indeed listen to their supporters. They are NOT the Clintons and money men/women don’t drive his agenda.

Candelaria—Now there you go making me laugh… GWB’s name and competence in the same sentence. Has that ever happened before?!

Bonnie - I remember. HRC will not be offered the VP (fused w/Bill) spot. Period. She is spinning the NY MEDIA and they are biting — on HIS night. Barack is not Bill. HRC will not impose her will on Barack. He doesn’t OWE her. Bill does. If women want to RISK a McCain/Bush four more years — because of a hissy fit — we deserve whatever happens and our children will NOT thank us. A VP is a surrogate for the President. Even tonight it is evident HRC is incapable of accepting REALITY and being gracious in defeat. Remember Michelle Obama…

It isn’t about HC anymore, it’s about what HC represents and how the Democratic Party reacted to it. Seriously, if Mr. Green wants to the walk away from the Democratic Party, he will be at the head of a march.

Well then, what is your alternative? McCain??? Einsteins definition of insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Robert Green, What do you mean that the Democratic party sold out HC? What are you talking about?

Robert, don’t be silly. Just pray for the dream ticket. Hillary Clinton can do/be anything she chooses at this point, but I believe her destiny is to make history in a way none of us would have believed possible even a decade ago. Becoming the first woman president, and being selected as the running mate of our first Af/Am president, will insure her place in the political annals our our society, and will of course pave the way for the first woman president sooner rather than later. I see Obama as the Bill Clinton of the 21st Century — everything he has done in his political career points to that. Hillary Clinton may end up being able to accomplish even more of her goals in the VP position, and a new generation of progressive voters will become permanently hardwired into America’s political process. We must begin to undo the horrible damage done to the reputation of the US during the Bush II presidency. We must stop destroying the lives of our military men and women as well as those of millions of Iraqis killed, horribly wounded, and tragically displaced from their homes. We must salvage the US economy and put an end to the strangulation of the American dream by the new economic oligarchy. Most importantly, a combination of the Manhattan and Apollo projects must be launched to prevent the destruction of our civilization, if not our species, by global climate change and the catastrophic world conflicts that will inevitably result from it. It will take an Obama / Clinton team if we are to have a hope of addressing these existential issues. Please Robert, for the sake of our progeny and all women, get on board the Dream Ticket Express!

OOPS !!!!! I would make a stupid mistake like that in my first post in nearly a month. Of course I meant to say that Hillary’s place in history will be insured by becoming the first woman VICE PRES and becoming the running mate of the first Af/Am president. Mea culpa.

Barack Obama is not Bill Clinton. If he is anyone he is JFK/FDR type….in stature. He will make the entire world hope with the real America again. He is extremely popular in Europe where they are paying close attention to this election. Hillary will have some role….I don’t think Veep…but something big. I am sure of one thing. Teddy Kennedy is feeling really good right now!
