Liza, I think a lot of us “Miss Undecideds” have not gotten off that wavering spot on the ground, but instead of talking about the election, we stand there in stores, undecided if - with the economy as it is - we should buy even more or less the “essentials”, much less the “spoil yourself” things that gave our lives such a lift. What a sad sad state of affairs our world is in!!!!!

I know! I didn’t really consciously think about the economy when I did this. More making fun of the notion that women are supposedly undecided all the time, and that the “undecideds” from the election are going to miss all that attention! But now the economy—I feel exactly the same way. Am I going to have money to buy essentials down the road???? Nothing is very clear. Perhaps that is a good way to live anyway!

if you have money to spend willy-nilly, help out some of us who don’t.

Yep the “undecideds” will miss all the attention! And so will Lieberman, now that he isn’t a tie breaker anymore.

Liza, Always a pleasure when I see your posts. Yes those women did get lots of attention :) Makes me want to be “undecided” in the next election.

Liza, There is a general sense of letdown, now that the “big decision” is made. And I agree that it is mixed with an apprehension about the state of our economy and our world. It is not entirely comfortable. Before the election, we had hope to buoy us up, but now we are all confronted with the reality of how diificult the road may be. I hope that hope is enough to keep us all going.
