Does anyone know what goes haywire when we hit “reply” to a thread and our “reply” never lands in that thread line? I can’t find any of my posts today; it was working fine on Friday. Am I doing something different? Don’t think so.

Carol. If you click on your name highlighted in read at the bottom of each of your comments, you will be catapulted back to a complete list of every possible answer you have given and be able to navigate the site better. The same applies to your favorite bloggers. Hit their name in red and it will send you to their list of every comment they made. This site isn’t perfect yet. If you are having trouble. Shut it down and re-boot the system. Start over. It might be bogged down if you never close your computer.

Amelie, I can find my posts by clicking on my avatar, but not my replies to the comments - like now, I hit reply at the bottom of your paragraph entered at 11:41 pm (I need to go to bed!), and when I go back to find it to clink on ‘email alert’ I cannot find them, and probably won’t find this. I clean everything up daily, and shut down completely when I’m through, and have my temp int files linked to my desktop to remove them daily. This is the only site I have a bumpy time with so shut off my pop-up stopper. It’s something like Yahoo does, jumpy, slow, etc. If it’s traffic, that’s great, though. ;-)) “Hugs@cha friend”

Might it be true that if a company is too big to crash, it is too big to exist?

I am soooo furious with the Obama campaign. This economic crisis is devastating and they are fanning the fires with totally incendiary speech merely as a campaign tactic!!!!!!! Obama’s economic advisor was practically giddy tonight on NPR, tossing around words like Depression like campaign slogans. Giddy, I swear, GIDDY! Absolutely no conscience whatsoever! Especially when the markets are trying like hell to stabilize. It is DOWNRIGHT irresponsible to fans the fires as governments around the world are rallying for stabilization. Believe me, this is angriest I have ever been at this campaign. They are irresponsible! It’s all because Obama gets a bump as the markets and banks teeter… but give me a break! We need to fix this fast. Those ***holes!

I can’t believe it when politicians say ‘WE HAVE TO STICK TOGETHER’, I did not have anything to do with this. One thing we are getting from crisis, is a course in ECONOMIC. I did not know that America’s financial system was based on credit. So, because people can not control their spending, other people make money. We are our brother’s keeper!

I work in the coaching/business-consulting arena. In fact, I’m a pretty new business owner. And, to be totally honest, the economic crisis is not impacting me. I believe coming at each opportunity from a place of abundance has a higher success rate. People want hope, connection, and to see the value of investments. Where better to invest than in yourself?

In economics, a financial market is a mechanism that allows people to buy and sell, in other words: “trade”, financial securities which can be named as stocks and bonds. However, nowadays many companies are vastly affected by the decrease in financial markets and some of them became bankrupted as they spent their last efforts to endure. For instance, the sharp waves and chances created by the mortgage crisis in the US, for example “credit crunch”, supported the weak slowdown in the economy, letting it be an economical storm. A recession is probably on the way for the US in a close future. In addition the fall in financial markets results in collapsed national budgets. It is an accepted fact that the most important issue to be solved will be the financial injuries, which will force the people to cut their expenses as their state does. Actually, the economic crisis affects economic growth in the world and this decrease in economic growth results in less production. While Sweden showed no sign of growth in the second quarter, Estonia has negative growth values; minus 0.5 and 0.9 in the first and second quarters of 2008 respectively. In the first three months of 2008 Denmark economy got smaller by 0,6 as it did by 0,2in the last three months in 2007. Increase in the inflation is another inevitable effect of the decreasing economical growth. It is a reality that economic crisis has world wide effects; companies being bankrupted, national budgets being collapsed, less production and an increase in inflation.

Unemployment can be assumed as a very serious effect of the economic crises on human lives. As the Director – General of the International Labour Office (ILO) asserted, 20 million people can be added to the unemployed part of the world because of the recession in the world economy. Rise in unemployment will result in falling labor fees, and this causes the overall human living standarts fall down. Another effect on humanlife is poverty which increases in many developing and especially undeveloped countries. “South Africa’s central bank governor Tito Mboweni warned Saturday that slowing economic growth linked to the financial crisis risked pushing tens of millions into poverty in Africa.” Tens of million people is a tangible phrase to see the effect of the global economic crises on poor people. Global economic crises also forces wealthy countries, who helps poor countries but nowadays fighting with their own crisis, to cut the aids to lighten the weights over their well-feed people… People who fall out of their work and are poor suffer from famine. Social category in many developing or undeveloped countries are changed by increasing of a famine. Number of the problems increase day by day such as theft because of a famine. The financial breakdown of poor countries will result in a famine leaving many people starving.
