Yes. I know there is one kid there who is a Canadian. He was only 14 or something like that when he was caught. He threw a grenade over his shoulder after witnessing every last person killed around him. That grenade killed an American in Afghanistan (I think). Omara Kadr (sp). I have mixed feeling about this kid’s plight.

What a beautiful bright sunny day today is! So much hope and excitement rippling throughout our beautiful country. What a time. On the idea that some persist in calling him “messiah”: President Obama doesn’t mean to do it alone. He’s already calling for us to sacrifice (e.g., yesterday’s call to service) and he will be doing more and more of that, I’m sure. He cannot and will not bring positive change all by himself. This is what I believe. Those who fight him, will stall us or worse. Those who sit back to watch and wait for him to perform miracles obviously will be disappointed. But those who join up and pitch in inspired energized and determined will in the end be very satisfied with his leadership. I plan as best I can to be among the latter.
