I thought it was a good debate and the moderator did a good job.

Shields and Brooks are giving Obama good marks…not a game changer for Grumpy McSame.

Well, if there is still an undecided voter, I’d like to know who it is !!

Undecided before tonight - Leaning more toward Obama. I felt that he spoke more to me. McCain did better than in the past but I felt that he seemed more out of touch. Senator Obama spoke to me. I’m excited about what he will bring to America. I respect McCain, but if I were to vote today it would be for Obama.

Joe six pack is a Plumber!

Joe the Plumber is no small business man! He owns at least 4 businesses, 3 on the same block, 1 at another location, and possibly more. And could he be related to Keating’s son-in-law, Robert Wurzelbacher, who went to prison for his part in the Savings & Loans Scandal for 40 months in 1993 and is from the same area? Nah. 1. Joseph Wurzelbacher (Joseph Wurzelbacher Cnstr Co) 2. JCC INVESTMENTS INC in the Investors, N.E.C. industry in CINCINNATI, OH. 3. Wurzelbacher Painting 4. Wurzelbacher Brothers Joe probably owns more than $250,000 in business. And not to sound the conspiracy theory alarm, but I think he was a plant. I received an email from someone in Ohio on Wednesday afternoon, and she talked about a plumber who was talking to Obama and how Obama told him to share the wealth, yada yada. Imagine my surprise to see McCain use that very same conversation as the lynchpin for his attacks.

Susan B, Interesting finding. We should all be so lucky as to be as downtrodden as Joe the simple plumber I think. He must be some plumber! See FactCheck.org: http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/factchecking_debate_no_3.html It’s worth noting that while Wurzelbacher told Fox News’ Neil Cavuto that he lives “in a simple, middle class home” and portrayed himself as an ordinary working guy, Wurzelbacher’s $250,000 to $280,000 is a bit higher than “ordinary.” In 2007, the last year for which the Census Bureau has figures, the median income for a family in Toledo, Ohio, was $43,553.

Guess he’s not “Some Plumber” after all Joe the Plumber’ says he has no plumbing license. http://www.comcast.net/articles/news-general/20081016/Joe.the.Plumber/?c…

Rachel Maddow says the one line that sticks with her had to do with McCani not caring about the life of the mother in the abortion debate. What was McCain’s point anyway?

When he mockingly put his hands up to signify quote marks around the spoken words, “the woman’s health”, I was terribly insulted. How dare he presume to question the validity of a woman’s health concerns or medical problems! He showed his true colors with that one. Also, he kept using the term, “Pro Abortion People.” yuck. He once was a pro-choice guy, but no more. I wonder if his base knows that.
