Me too! I know I’ll be here. I love hearing what others think in regard to the election. It reminds me of what I learned in psyche class…..two people can view an accident. If you approach both and ask for them to explain what they saw, you will receive two different versions. We all see life through our own filters. No where is this more apparent then when you discuss politics. People see all of the candidates through their own filters that in some aspects colors how they view the opponents. Terribly interesting in my opinion….

Belinda! Great succinct post. There is an Indian parable about many people wearing blindfolds who are feeling an elephant and arguing fiercely about how best to describe what an elephant is. One has it by the tail, one has it by the trunk, one is in the middle by its stomach, another describes the foot. Every part of the elephant is different and they are telling their truth about what they experience, but as a whole, its a disaster. This is where the world economy is at right now. Not just American. And this is how the election is playing out too. We can only judge the world through our individual paradigm. This is a cool place for us to learn from each other because for every opinion there is an equal and opposite opinion. I will not be on the forum as I have a movie opening at 7 pm PST. But I will check in later if anyone can’t sleep after, I’ll check in late and weigh in.

An excellent analogy, Amelie. I will try to remember that as my blood pressure rises with what appears to be MCain’s complete disregard of the question or the truth, in favor of self-touting, meaningless slogans.

;) Yes. I posted elsewhere that I was so incensed at the lack of respect for the debate process from Palin that if I were Gwen I would have halted the debate when she blatantly explained that she was NOT going to answer the questions the way the moderator wanted. Then I would have declared Biden the victor on the spot to take the wind out of every pundits sails in hours and hours and hours of talking heads on TV discussing who won! They all would have had a lot less to say if Gwen stated who actually won, right? hee

No kidding. It was revolting. I just don’t get it. I guess everyone is so afraid of picking on little SP, that no one can address her refusal to be intelligent and thoughtful. I just don’t get it.

Step away from the BLOG!
Belinda! You mentioned something in another thread and now can’t remember what, a book you wrote, something. So I googled what ever it was and found your website. DARNED impressive!! Just how are you so prolific? And maybe YOU should teach Palin to speak!! I laughed when read your favorite TV show was Mary Tylor Moore. Mine Was Crosby, was that the name of the show with the wife and all the kids? Loved that show…one of the best in TV history. Such great casting. Was so devastated for them when their son was killed. Mrs. Crosby is so beautiful and such a lady. And I remember her saying after he so was so senselessly lost than she never let anyone in the house with bad energy, that it could get in the walls. True.

Suzanne, I heard about this on a news show last night. This whole Palin campaign stomp is turning very ugly. And, yesterday, they barred reporters from talking to people that were there. http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/10/7/03628/8762/58/622356

Yup the yahoos, yobs, white supremacists and total racists are out in full force for dear Sarah who is a racist herself in my opinion—“Barak Obama is not one of us” yup hes oh my! Black! Gasp! Ms Incoherence is playing to her level alright—And Ms Palin answer me this: The pastor from Kenaya who laid hands on you who accused a woman in Nairobi of being a witch— and the led a crowd to remove her from town and “shot her sink” , what would you call him Sarah dear? That’s right you can get it out: a domestic terrorist. and Palin in pallin’ around with a domestic terrorist? Good heavens what would God say Sarah?

Say it ain’t so Sarah! And what about the first Dude who palled around with the Alaskan secessionist and his party Sarah——you know the one who said: I hate the American Government and will not be buried under the us flag? What would you call him Sarah? That’s right: a domestic terrorist, Sarah—Sarah, you got a lot of explaining to do to God. Palling around with domestic terrorists. tut tut.
